Get StartedPut it this way....we will never be able to replace Calvin in his prime...but Stafford threw for 70% and 32 tds in a year where Calvin wasn't Calvin in his prime. We can find Matt receivers as capable as last seasons Calvin.
Exactly. You'll never find a guy like CJ ever again. His combination of speed, size, humbleness and work ethic will probably never be seen again. But like you said, surround your QB with pieces in order for you to succeed. God forbid though....cuz this board frowns upon talent coming in to make your QB better lol. Meanwhile, every single fucking team does it in some sort of way. But hey, lets draft a QB in the 4th or 5th rd to "push" our QB because he just looks too comfortable back there....lol
We Don't frown upon it....its a running joke.
Need a running game....we run for 1500 yards...nothing.
Moar weapons...nothing
Good oline...he does nothing
Every other team in the division loses their starting qb...nothing
Best defense in football....nothing
What more cam we possibly give this guy to perform at a high level. ...its comical.
How about he starts making other people better like the rest of the good qbs in the league.
Yeah but he hasn't had those things in the same time. One year he has a good RB combo, next year defense, next year good WRs, Oline like never, coaching staff constantly changing, etc.

Stafford simply isn't good enough to overcome organizational ineptitude. There have been a lot of problems and a lot of blame to go around. I don't think he sucks but I also don't think he was ever in a great position to succeed either. If this team needs a HOF-caliber QB in order to succeed, then there's a lot more that needs fixing.
He definitely doesn't suck.

He definitely doesn't suck. But to say hes ready to step and and lead this team without CJ and we wont skip a beat is just adding another thing to the looooong list of stuff Stafford is supposed to do....but never does.
I agree 2015calvin can be replaced by just about anyone in the league. He ran a 7 yard slant 90% of the time. But we weren't a good team then either and thusfar haven't really spent calvins money to improve the team any.
Right now I see the potentially easier schedule being the only difference maker from this year compared to last.
Give me a name that could have replaced Stafford. If you or any of you guys got ONE single fucking liable name i'll never talk up Stafford on here again. I'll join the hate crew, but only as a silent partner lol
REMEMBER......give me one QB that is better than Staff that we could have drafted or brought in as a FA since Stafford has been a Lion. You can't name one guy..lol
Because you asked:
Russel Wilson (Drafted)
Peyton Manning (FA) back in 2012.

he said name one...not two
And he still hasn't named one. Wilson is close, but you guys already know how I feel about him. In my eyes, he's no better than Stafford at this point. Then you have Manning. No chance he was coming to the D....not a single chance in hell.
