Trump is doing alot of things he said he wouldn't during his ruin for presidency. Medicare, soc security, American people and China are paying for a wall to keep Mexicans out of the country? We have someone that doesn't believe in climate change as head of the epa, someone that doesn't believe in giving money to public schools in charge of education, linda mcmahon in charge of small business and a white supremacist as one of trumps top aides. Ill admit im not an expert on all this medicaid/medicare/Soc security stuff but it what little i do know and whats out there on the internet....his plan to overhaul Obamacare includes block grants to medicaid which will cut spending in the rural areas....which a majority of the people that got him elected. This was the ideology that made Bernie show up to the senate floor with the huge cardboard tweet a couple weeks ago reminding the senate what Trump said during his campaign. Bernies message was simple....either abide by what you said....or youre a liar.

It appears That Ryan and his group of over zealous smiling Righty's that are taking this Opportunity to go after Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, and I think they believe they can get Donny T to sign it. Now Trump said he would not touch them but who knows. Did you see the big Grin on Ryan's face as Trump was walking down to take the oath? Holy crap I wanted to vomit and then I left to go grocery shopping as i could not stand to see that clown take the oath.


Ryan is a sneaky little weasel, and I HOPE I AM WRONG , and or it will get veto when the time comes but it has been all over the internet for years that guys like Ryan, and others want to get after these popular programs.. They seem a tad more Bow-Chesty right now lol..

The affordable healthcare act has nothing to do with Social Security and virtually nothing to do with Medicare.

Medicaid was around long before the affordable healthcare act and Medicaid ain't going anywhere.

Correct i understand that...but as i stated trump has a plan to replace the ACA that does make changes to those programs...mainly Medicaid by making it a block grant program which will reduce spending for that program.

Well Obama care integrated and expanded Medicaid within the affordable care act, and Medicaid goes back to the social security act of 1935 and it is not going to go away.

I thought Obama was an OK President-I didn't vote for him; I thought he was too young and inexperienced at the time he was elected.

He would have been a better president I think if he had been first elected in 2012 or in this election cycle.

The most important thing the affordable care act accomplished was to allow people with pre-existing conditions who would have been otherwise uninsurable to get insurance before they got so broke dick poor that were that they were eligible to get insurance through Medicaid.

This is hardly the first time I've said this on this board.

I blame George W. Bush and the Republican Congress from 2000 to 2006 for failing to address this.

I'm just going by the article I read. I think initially green card holders were thought to be included because Trump and Co did such a shitty job preparing, communicating, and executing the changes. They then had to clarify. It's all bullshit. Feels rushed and amateur, just like most of his executive orders have so far.
