Ferguson, MO

could be stepping over him, could be kicking him, but I doubt he'd kick a guy and then commence CPR and keep trying to save his life until paramedics arrived. I'll tell ya though, that Cuomo interview of the witness at the bottom of that piece is a real gem.

Could be anything.

I didn?t see the Cuomo interview - why is the Governor of New York concerned about this?

I did read the Daily Wire report you linked to with Devin Brosnan?s account of what happened after the shooting.

It seems competing entities of authority might be doing their own ?unbiased investigations? which, quite astonishingly, might actually end up not syncing up.

It wasn’t the Gov, it was his lil bro Fredo interviewing one of the witnesses and his lawyer for CNN.

you still think they have some credibility left? Personally, I don't think they had much if any to begin with but by now, is there any doubt?

Obviously among bootlickers, trumpets, etc they were never going to be taken seriously. But among those that weren't against them from the start, I believe they do (for now). I'm trying to not approach every protest/protestor the same. There have been many peaceful protests along the violent riots.

But I'm also smart enough to know that many people will hold all protestors under the same umbrella as the rioters. Similar to how some are holding all cops under the same umbrella as the murderering, raping, corrupt cops. It's not right, it's blanket generalizing mentality.

I wonder if I could make any money selling these t-shirts:

I Was a Peaceful Protestor

When the Riots Started I Went Home

Or how about this one?

I Was a Good Cop

When the Politicians Threw Us Under the Bus, I Said “Fuck It” and Quit

Probably not much.

Maybe I should just make them and give them away.

For the cause.

That's possibly the most unAmerican thing ever posted on this board. If you can't make money off of it then you don't do it.

Shame on you. Why don't you kneel during the national anthem while you're at it?!

Funny.

Nice.

Man, you?re up late.

Or early.

Or both.

Since the Covid I?ve been driving independent contract delivery, and my circadian cycle has been completely upside down.

Often I can?t tell if I?m coming or going.

Like right now, 1:15 AM in the western US.

Monday, June 22, the third day of the new year, in certain pagan circles.

It?s super late or super early in the Eastern US.

Check out how seriously Peter Gallagher takes his craft, singing one of the most difficult ballads to sing ever written, let alone about when one is up at this time.

Cool, this is a funny story.

Queen Shaharazad says she grants you another day to continue the story.

(Psssssst....she especially wants to know if the suspects got fucked in the ass in the station. She got that shit from King Shariar).

If I was you I?d continue the story with cliffhangers because, you know...they?re a weird couple with issues.

Maybe don?t go straight to the jail butt sex right away?

Maybe stretch out a few nights?

Say....1001?

The family of the guy killed in the video is suing.

Of course the lawyers of the family also claim that the shot him because of racism.

It was racism that called the police regarding the suspect.

Racism made the cops stop the two guys who match the description which was called in.

Yup, racism put that gun in the guys pocket.

Racism made him run away from the police instead of being searched.

And racism made him reach for the gun while running away.

And finally, racism was the reason the police shot him.

you don't have to approach them all the same. I don't. I'm perfectly fine to let peaceful protestors protest all they want. Being peaceful though does not make them credible. There is no data to support the claims of systemic racism, or that police are targeting innocent black people for murder.

I'm also not going to feel sorry for moronic "peaceful" protestors who get swept up in police actions when cops are defending themselves from crowds that have some violent protestors.

It's statue season, and no statue is safe from the mob's reach.

In other news, someone was shot in the CHAZ and EMS refused to go in without police protection. The man died and the warlord running things in the CHAZ is upset that EMS would not enter the CHAZ. No, seriously, he's upset.

The world is inverted, and we all better prepare to literally defend our persons and loved ones with the requisite response to the force applied to us.

I'll disagree on this one. People shouldn't have their 1st amendment rights infringed on because others are being assholes. I use the same argument to defend the 2nd amendment, it'd be pretty hypocritical of me to not have the same attitude or opinion concerning people protesting properly.

If I'm protesting properly/peacefully and some fuck head throws a rock inciting police to swoop in with batons, rubber bullets, and pepper spray a blazing...that's not my fault and I shouldn't be 'swept up' with them. And before you or someone else says it doesn't escalate that quickly, one of the bigger police crackdowns in Seattle started over a fuckin' umbrella being yanked away from a protester. It doesn't take much.

:cheers::tup:

Perfectly said. I stayed away a little last week because some were (stupidly) arguing this. Saying if you didn't immediately go home because someone else was being an asshole, then you deserved what you got, shot with rubber bullet in the head, slammed with a riot shield, knocked to the ground, etc.
