Game 1: Vikings @ Lions Thread

How do you leave AP that open on that play? It is almost impossible to bat a ball up to yourself and then catch it on that part of the field.

I don't mind them running, but why are they?

Weird game (but I guess typical for the Lions)....a shitload of mistakes and bad plays and a bunch of good things too. The win is the important thing.

Looks like they did get their shit together in the 2nd half.

When's the last time we saw the victory formation? Honestly? *another heart-attack*

Should have scored 63 today, those first two quarters were just stupid, now don't go stinken it up in AZ next week, they never play well down there

Something else that was really good...Staff was only sacked once...and that was on that weird busted play or read option...whatever that was. Took 1 good shot in that game.

Reiff shut Allen down, he did nothing this game except for the sack on the broken play where Stafford tried to run for it. The O line played great as a whole, kept Stafford clean and opened holes for Bush and Bell all game.

A+ for our O line today.

Ansah was also a force all game.

LOL

I will take credit for this win. After the Pettigrew fumble, I stated that I gave up on the team. Clearly, somebody on the sidelines saw it and it inspired the team. I turned off the game and walked away, cursing under my breath. Next time I check, we're up 10.

So, you're welcome, lions fans.
