The one thing i noticed about Young today was that he was consistently beating the RT but he's so erratic he takes himself out of the play 50% of the time. He needs to learn control and leverage....

I give the oline a ton of praise...only thing I said about them is they were unproven at the start of the year....they had 3 new starters including a new LT....ofcourse they were unproven.

can anyone clarify the safety rule now that the game is over. I thought if there was a hold while the ball was in the end zone its a safety? or did they change the rule during the game cause it was the lions?

We let a horrible 3-6 team freaking torch us for 37 points.. They were only averaging 19 points a game today so no I did not see anything positive outside the offensive second quarter.
Play calling on both side of the ball was awful except for a 12 minute stretch. Lions failed to put the game away when they had the chance at the end of the half. Jim made a terrible road decision with his fake FG and let a terrible team grab momentum.

Today it was a perfect example of the same old damn Lions not seizing a chance to move closer to a playoff spot and maybe even a home playoff game. The maddening thing we have seen three of the four losses that should have been wins... This franchise just never seems to learn anything.. Now we will probably have to scratch and claw just to make the playoffs.. They should have won today by two touchdowns... This team better blow out Tampa Bay next week... If they play down to TB's level I will be pissed...
