Game 10: Panthers @ Lions Thread

1. The NFL isn't easy. That statement is beyond ridiculous. If it was "easy" we'd all be doing it
2. Ebron was what here? A 3rd or 4th option? He's a #2 in Indy lol
3. Blaming Stafford for Ebron's success in Indy is idiotic. See #2
4. Cooter would take out Ebron majority of the times in the redzone. It was literally mind blowing
5. You guys hated Ebron here. This is just another excuse to throw #9 under the bus. Give credit where credit is due. Ebron is a good TE. He was misused here. It's not Stafford's fault...

I hated him until it was clear that he wasn't being used to his strengths, the fact that he was used so seldomly and that we could have had Donald was just a slap in the face to every Lions fan. I actually wanted them to resign him last year after they actually started giving him more pt later in the season.

I thought my #5 answered most of that. I felt Ebron gave up trying here. Which is why he never progressed much. I think the free agency helped him or gave him drive. It's not like he is blowing things away, hes only on pace for around 750 yards. Still has a bunch of drops.

Whether its play calling or QB play, they seem to find him in the end zone for whatever that reason is this year. He's a big athletic target. He was second on our team in red zone targets last year, but only converted that in to 2 readzone TDs. This year he has 7 redzone TDs.

Gave up here? Maybe. I just don't think he was a fit. A lot of mouths to feed before him and you could tell that him and Stafford were light yrs away from gelling.
Ebron is on a record breaking TD season though for a TE. Dude has 12 total on the season I think?? So, he is blowing things away. He's not doing anything different in Indy IMO. He's just more of an option there and Luck absolutely loves TEs.

I blame Suh for that. He used the Lions as leverage for other teams and wanted to start a bidding war for his services. He had zero intentions of re-signing in Detroit. Mayhew and co got played....
