Game 109 Tigers @ Yankees

Wow they sent him back out?

Is their bullpen as bad as ours?

Suarez left-knee sprain.

To be re-evaluated tomorrow.

Didn't they have a long game last night...I think their BP was taxed pretty good.

Just looked...Yanks BP pitched 7 innings last night

sorry...I have been told that he is better defensively than AJ and I trust his opinion (works for the Mud Hens)

Well, I have heard the reverse, that's he's not quite as good as Jackson. This was from a couple different sources.

KC even posted a few links to this effect I believe.

But whatever. I also see no evidence to back up your claim that he's gotten slower, but I'm not going to have an LKP style argument about it. You're welcome to your beliefs.

Like for example...if Victor Martinez is on first base with the bases loaded and nobody out and the opposing centerfielder makes the EXACT play that Carrera did...but traps the ball; but the out is called and on the review the catch is overturned...is anybody gonna say that Victor Martinez would have scored from first?

He might not have scored from second?

What if it's Miggy on second and Martinez on first in an identical/reverse situation? Are both gonna score? Really? Is Miggy even sure to score? Is he even going to be waved home?

That's why the whole "letting the umpires guess what would have happened" doesn't make any sense...

I don't think either of us is stubborn enough to get into one of those debates! I do trust the opinion of my friend...he has called 5000+ mud hens games in a row...he really knows his baseball.

Alex really needs to work on getting back to hitting the ball the other way like he did so often his rookie year, he did it a couple of times a few days ago, I know he can

I don't think he would have had to.

It was a nice play by Carerra, but I think other CF'ers make it look routine because they wouldn't have had to jump/layout for it. And Ajax was always great going after balls hit deep over his head, it was the short ones that he wouldn't dive for.

Carerra is 5' 10" Jackson is 6' 1"

Not taking anything away from Carerra, but I think Ajax makes that catch. For that matter I think Don Kelly does as well.

LMAO ...i really hope this is sarcastic for your sake . If not , all i can do is SMH .

Alright auto out get it started will ya, maybe lay one down and beat it out
