Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

Is JBC dictating where the pass goes prior to the snap? Is Stafford not allowed to go anywhere but the predetermined 1st read?

Are we running 1 route every play?

Idk. Are we??? Ya, Stafford obviously has other options but obviously nobody is getting open and Stafford is dumping it off. I'm not blaming our weapons at all. I'm blaming our OC. Not all of it is Cooter's fault either but he has no imagination in that small brain of his. Since Cooter has been here he's been a guy that can't draw up exciting plays. He's the dryest most safest OC in the fucking league. It's time to switch things up and get the juices flowing...

21% OC, 79% Matt. Detroit isn't the only team to dink and dunk but the better QB don't.

Dink and dunk due to
Lang injury
Marvin Jones injury
Kerryon Johnson injury

Jackson is a good safety and made a great play too. The second pick was pi by fuller

Jackson came out of nowhere. Not a dumb throw at all

Second Roberts stopped his route due to pi

Refs should have called a bullshit defensive holding call on the bears like they fucking called on the lions when Tracy walker jumped garrapolo to beat the 49ers

We have had three different type OCs and none of them worked for Staffords skill set.

So what? You're cool with Cooter then??? He brings nothing to the table anymore. Same shit every yr. Other teams have known what they're doing for the last few yrs. Defenses know their signals, formations and anything to everything else. Time to go!!!! It's been a slice, JBC. Now get the fuck outta Dodge!!! Offenses change OC's all the time. Stafford is too good a QB to regress like this....

I was more upset at the 2nd one. He never gave Roberts a chance to fight for the ball.
The 1st one?? Not so much. Stafford saw the Safety but thought his arm strength could get his receiver the ball. Obviously he was wrong but i'm not going to beat him up for it. He makes that throw 8/10x normally IMO...

Are you telling me he soft armed it? The all world power arm of Matt Stafford. The way the DB jumped the ball Matt makes that 0 out of 10. It was a shitty shitty throw. 8 out of 10, lmao.

He has always been a QB that couldn't put together a full game/season. That's why he is average. Plays well at times, plays like shit at times

Every other game I see other QBs completing throws to guys we considered covered in Detroit.

If you need top 5 Oline, top 5 running game, four above average weapons, and a top 5 D to be successful, you aren't that good. You are Trent Dilfer.

It was a bad throw. I already admitted that but he does have a powerful arm and he's confident to borderline cocky with it. He fits balls into windows that make you shake your head in amazement. I wouldn't expect a full blown retard like you to grasp what i'm saying...lol

He's been a top 5-6 QB for the last 3-4 yrs. Trent Dilfer?? Lmfao. Were you the idiot who called 97.1 The Ticket the other day and said the exact same thing? Or you just stole it because you're not smart enough to come up with your own thoughts. What a joke lol.
As for your comments about what Stafford needs. He needs some players around him. Just like every other motherfucking damn QB in the league. It doesn't have to be perfect but having skill players around your other skill players is a bonus. There isn't one QB in this league that isn't surrounded by 1-2 great players. Some have more and some have less. You work with what you have. Right now Stafford is working with 1 WR (Golladay) 0 TEs and 0 RBs (don't let Blount's Bears game fool you...he's doing nothing this yr). Then they got rid of his safety blanket in Tate. It's obviously showing on the field. But hey, he makes 27MIL, he's supposed to turn water into fucking wine lol.

Who doesn't. But Matt doesn't do it very often. Inaccurate and inconsistent.

A lot of QBs do. And Matt usually does it a couple times a game. He did it on the Golladay throw just before the pick from Fuller. The ball was perfectly thrown into a window where ONLY Golladay got 2 hands on it. It would have been a difficult catch but it was definitely catchable.
How the fuck would you know though? You're the boxscore watcher. You don't watch games....

Not sure where you get top 5 QB. Any single year he's been a fringe top 10 under cooter. Prior to cooter he got benched because he sucked so bad. This year he's back to playing like he did the first 6 years

So we don't count Johnson, then ignore Blount having a good game as a starter for that injured player.

The 2nd int our idiot qb wanted him to run to the back pylon right into the db. The db had perfect position so Roberts did what he should have and started to run to the open space for an easy 6. OUr idiot qb fluttered up some crap ball to no man's land.

Roberts stopped because he was interfered with. That pick is 100 percent on the refs
