I made a mistake and read this whole game thread.
IDK why some of you are so angry at Stafford, half the f'n team is out or on injured reserve.
Stafford is playing with a fucked up back and has not had 1 days full practice in over 2 weeks.
Maybe it hurts to throw it up 40/50 yards in the air,
Bills do have the top rated defense in all of the nfl,
Before anyone says Cassell really??
OC jbc gone after the last game.
Some of the depth players are better than years past, but not all.
This was a winnable game, as some of you posted hoping they lose for the better draft pick, so as of now, they might as well lose out and get top 5 pick.
I don't have much else to say, so I will do the game links and go to bed.
Then if he knows he is a detriment to the team, put aside the whole warrior bull shit and sit down.
We are angry at Stafford not because of this game. Because as a 10-year veteran, he's showing that he's just not an elite QB, never was, never will be. He rarely, rarely elevates his play to bring others up. How often can you look at his history and the guys around him and say, "Yeah, Stafford made him better." Not much. He was blessed with one of the greatest WRs to ever play, and now he's got another guy who's almost Calvin-lite, bailed him out of multiple shit throws today.
His record against winning teams is laughable, and now he looks like a guy who goes out there, collects a check, and goes home. I don't blame him for that, this franchise has ruined so many people.
But, there is no hiding from numbers. And his career passer rating is above average, his TD/INT ratio is crap, and he notoriously piles up yards when the game is out of reach.
And it is even more frustrating watching teams like Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, and even Houston who have young QBs, and Detroit is stuck with a guy who is in neutral. There is NOTHING to get excited about with this organization.
