Game 14: Lions @ Giants Thread

We had chances to win this game. I think we're every bit as good as the Giants.....just can't miss that many opportunities.

Deserved to lose.

Hate conservative playcalling. All game long until we had our backs against the wall and we are out of time. Glad we got figured out today. Hope the offensive players raise hell with their dickless coaches.

That Zenner fumble changed everything in this game. Not saying we would have won but you just can't have that in this type of game.

Did the glove hurt Matt or just good Giants defense?

Matt seemed fine. Play calling was pretty gutless today....more so than usual. Just too many 1st down up the middle run calls. It's like they never gave Stafford and the offense a chance to get into a solid rhythm. We called the game like we were afraid of their defense.

And we just didn't take advantage of our opportunities today. There were chances.

That fumble turned the game around. And yes I agree we were WAYYY too conservative in a big game. It's clear Stafford throwing the ball was our best option today. Can't keep giving him 3rd and 7 or longer.

The fumble killed momentum but really just overly conservative, bland playcalling. Their defense played well no doubt but we could have done more.
