Game 14: Lions @ Giants Thread

Lions need to earn this division now. They still control their own fate. If they're as good as they think they are then get it done on the field.

Packers now control their own destiny for the division. Lions still control theirs as well.

what is all this cooter is smart up and comming cordinator stuff? Guy is fucking retarded and has single handedly turned this offense to shit.

He's a great qb coach. I really hope that Quin sees through the bs, and offers him his OLD job back when the season is over. There's really no reason to keep him around, honestly, he's done his work with Stafford, but he is a liability as a coordinator. Why do we always accept having offensive cootdinators that are way in over their heads? 4 years in a row, we have an offensive coordinator that has no idea how to make this offense humm. Like I said, hopefully Quin sees this how we see it.

Where is the imagination in the running game? They did a jet sweep with Tate one time and it got 7 or 8 yards. Every single running play this team does is Stafford takes snap, turns really slow into the RB and sticks in in his gut. There's nothing creative.

There is no running game and no red zone offense, will Theo be back next week yet?

Really don't like this, this is setting up for a crushing Jan 1 hearbreaker...gd packers are going to dagger us again

I think the reduction in broken tackles has lead to the decreasing productive offense. We haven't been a team that beats you in the air under JBC. We won by making short throws and creating after the catch. The weapons doing nothing after the catch has killed us. Throwing the ball 2 yards isn't a good strategy if you get tackles right away. If you're going to be dink and dunk you need YAC.

I think that we have an utterly worthless TE once we reach the red zone. Replacing him or dumping him this off season is key
