I'm less worried about the number of points we put up than I am about our overall play.

If we win 28-10 I won't think we have "serious issues". That said, if we win 38-35 ill be pretty worried.

People just looking for a certain number of points are just searching to find a reason to be disappointed in a 10-4 team.

It's a mentality good teams have. You put horrible teams away early. 28 is close to 30 so I wouldn't be super worried, but if it's 13-7 I'll be happy we made the playoffs but wouldn't have conifidence we will go into GB and take the division.

Offense needs to show something.

Your argument is Stafford put up a true 28, like you said the lions "weapons" are allowed drops they just don't count against Stafford. So you agree Lions put up a true 16, you just believe Stafford led them to 28.

Agreed. I said the same in a different thread. If they come out flat......heads up their asses......not ready to play and have a horrid Lombardi esque gamplan...........even if they get a 13-7 W I think it shows a lot about the overall state of the team.

Do that, and GB rolls us and whoever we get in the first round would do the same. Even N.O.

Calvin,Stafford, Suh with one missing 3 games with normal other injuries=8-10 wins
Calvin,Stafford Suh wiht one missing 3 games and excessive other injuries=7-8 wins

I've always wondered why football teams didn't find some 7'2 guy who doesn't like basketball to their roster. Have them in goal line and hail mary situations. He can run a couple feet, get to the end zone, have the QB throw it 900 feet in the air and he can just stick his hands up and catch it.

what about when Stafford takes the snap....rolls to his right....oline blocks perfectly, WR is wide open dragging across the field....and matt doesn't throwi it even within 5 yards of him and kills a drive. Whos fault is that?

Truth is if rook QB doesn't throw 2 INT..we lose. If Matt throws them someone else's fault, other QB throws him it's the QB/great defense fault.
