Game 15: Lions @ Cowboys *Monday Night* Thread

You can't just say "4.2 YPC means 3 carries is a 1st down." It doesn't work like that my friend. He could have two carries that go for 1 yard, then bang out a long one the next quarter.

4.2 in today's standings makes him an average RB. He's not an every-down guy, and neither is Riddick. The team is in dire need of that.

Still mad at being up 21-14 with the freaking ball and going 3 and out when Ebron was wide open and the blitz was right in front of Matt if I remember it right .

I know it doesn't work that way. I know you can't just run the football 3 times and it's a 1st down all the time but you want your RB averaging over 4 ypc. That's a solid average.
As for AA not being an every down back? Idk yet. He's had some injuries. Is he talented? Damn right he is. Maybe he's no bellcow but there's not many out there that are anymore. I'm not opposed to the team going after another RB in the draft or FA.

RBs usually have a shelf life of 6 years. Hes hasnt done shit in 2 of those years. Im not sticking a fork in him by any means....hes an explosive homerun threat when healthy. I just dont see him as this savior to our run game the way some of the guys on the board do. Ebron still cant block. Reiff, warford and the revolving door at LG have all had their issues run blocking. Then theres our dumb ass Ocord. Even if Abdullah had 99 yards in the first half he probably wouldnt give him any touches in the 2nd half....guy is a fucking mental patient.

Abdullah was good in 2015. And was excellent the two games this year. Fluke foot injury on a great juke. He's done a lot. You are unbelievably negative hughes and your lies about Abdullah's production will not be tolerated.

Ebron is a good receiver. That is why he was drafted. Our blocking TE never was activated from PUP so we roll with Mulligan and Clay Harbor.

Dallas changed to run blitzes and man coverage. Zenner blew two protections. Then the Lions got down 14 so had to pass.

Whatever, Packers got to play everbody at Lambeau this year and to play the Giants before New York figured out their defense. Lions will crush them at Ford Field and then crush the Giants at Ford Field in the WC round

Ebron still cant block

I think the fact that he's inconsistent in the passing game is more worrisome. Guy have a decent game, followed by a turd or two. I want to see a few explosive games out of this guy, and some goddamn red zone targets. What am I missing? 6-4, 250, throw it to him.

650 yards in 12 games played. He makes lots of plays. 1,000 yard season if he didn't get injured

Honest question. Have you ever made a post without "if X didn't happen?"

Can you just man up on occasion when the team has concerns?

Injuries are a concern. So are ref mistakes

Lions can run on packers, pass on packers and stop Rodgers and their run game. Lions winning this game. Zero talent concerns or coaching concerns

Been saying that for years, so the answer is obvious. This is a guy that changes the outcome of games based on what should or shouldn't have happened in his opinion. You're beating a dead horse.

Based on facts. Injuries and ref errors are facts. But lions are 9-6. I was right as always even with injuries and ref mistakes in weeks 2 to 4

Past few days you are starting to go back to what caused problems before.
You are not always right, and neither are the other guys always right, but the back and forth is becoming louder from each new post versus each other.

I understand this is life and death, and the Lions big chance to make the postseason. everyone, let's try to be cool, and to a few, not try to push each others buttons before Sunday nights game.

Some might be glad I post this, others might be thinking what an asshole.
Just trying to maintain some cool so it doesn't go back to bat shit crazy.

lmao

based on facts...like "hotness factor" and "true wins"

Im pretty sure you didnt predict 9-6. dont know for fact and dont care enough to look it up....but knowing you id assume you predicted atleast a 12 win season. I dont really see how that can happen with 1 game left....

I predicted 10 or 11 and division title. I was right

Cowboys 7-1 home, giants 7-1, texans 7-1, seattle 7-1. packers avoided all four locations. that is clearly a factor.

lions 6-1. about to be 7-1

If you did predict 10 wins, you might be right, if they win on Sunday.
