Game 5: Bills @ Lions Thread

Doug Baldwin is a gem now? Holy fuck...lol. You just lumped together Doug Baldwin's and Colston's name together I see ....fuck ya lol.

Isn't Bell a gem?

Or fauria. A bunch of tds and he wasn't even drafted. Waddle too.

Kind of funny. Most of Peyton's recievers and Rodgers are all top picks. Jennings, james jones, jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb. Not a single one is a low pick. Peyton had Harrison, Clark, Wayne, demaryius, decker, even sanders is a 3rd rounder.

Two of Drew Brees' best offensive players for a few years were Marques Colston and Lance Moore. Colston was a 7th rounder, Moore was undrafted.

Who was Wes Welker until he played with Brady?

Waddle and Bell are one thing, those are guys that don't regularly catch passes from Matt Stafford, other than check downs (Bell). Where is that offensive WR threat that other teams find, but the Lions never do? It happens on a regular basis in the NFL, but Detroit is allergic to it.

Pats traded a 2nd for Welker.

Saints used 1sts on Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem during that time too. The undrafted and 7th rounder sometimes are better players than 1st rounders. It happens.

Since 2010 the Lions also used a 1st and 2 seconds on 2 other RBs and a WR

And when they got hurt, went insane or failed you have to go back to the drawing board and find some more. Get over it.

you were pointing out the failed early picks on the Saints so I was just reminding you of the other failed picks of the Lions.

Every teams uses 1sts. When 1sts fail, sometimes you use other 1sts. Lions have good WRs. Calvin and Tate are good. Ebron is a rookie so too soon to hate him. Hate on Pettigrew/Broyles all you want but this offense still works without them. And Fuller and Ross are stepping up a little.

Unfortunately Mayhew has only been seen in public about 5 times since becoming GM.... Which severely limits my pool of photos.

Lol getting quotes out of him is like trying to get into the White House.

True but it seems like every picture is a set up for a meme, which is a bonus.
