Game 6: Bears @ Lions Thread

Still got 30+ dropped on us at home. They're a joke...
And who wants to tell me why Caldwell had any faith in our defense with 2 minutes left on the clock? They kicked the FG? Nobody could cover Jeffery to save their life..lol. But Chicago decides to run the ball 3 times in a row? Gase and Fox are both retards. Thanks, Chicago!! You handed us the game.

I was thinking the same. Just toss it Slays way and we probably lose. I was thinking Lombardi got traded in OT to Chicago.

18 points off turnovers 3 short fields for Chicago. The defense did fine yesterday.

Run D was good. Red zone D was good.

Oh yeah, defense was fine. Gave up 34 to one of the worst teams in football. Really well done.

Who cares he gives up way to many big plays..

Not with a 50 QB rating he didn't.

He gave up 3 big plays and had good coverage on all 3. Just missed a jump ball, Sanders made a sick catch and Brown is really fast with a perfect throw from Palmer on the play.

so the offense wasn't good?

We scored 37. Offense was good, only one turnover there.

2 special teams turnovers. Return game wasn't good.

Sounds like you didn't watch the game.

Because he's an idiot. That Denver game is perfect example.. Make a tackle you dummy. He gets burned because he's always trying to get the INT. Did he ever try and just tip the damn ball?

he tried to knock it away. Thomas made a great play. Sanders made a better play. Brown is fast and the ball placement was perfect.

Slay is having a good year. Not as good as last year but still good.

3 short fields for 18 points. It was fine if you actually understood what happened.

Detroit 19, Detroit 21, Detroit 24. That is where Chicago started.

Chicago had 3 punts in second half. And 2 punts in OT.

He got beat. His first move went to cover the run and then he's like "whoops." By that time it was too late and never got in position to defend the ball. He made a last ditch effort but too late. He got beat.

So now qb rating matters? Cool....then our qb blows.

Talking for Dbs. Slay did well. You can use it for them as one factor. Also look at YAC, comp %, missed tackles and plays when not targeted. Slay did well and QB rating (is one reason) why.

QB way too many factors for just using QB rating for QBs. Need to see run support, pressure % and weapons getting open too.

He's just another piece of crap draft pick. QB air missiles one 8 feet over the head of a WR, CB gets credit. Lol.

QB was scared of tight coverage so threw an air missile.

And the coverage grade is more than just that. If he's not in good coverage, he gets dinged on the grade even if QB misses.

And it works the other way too. Slay has good coverage on Brown or Sanders but they make great catches. And yet you are bashing Slay even with good coverage. And you are only remembering 3 plays and ignoring countless others.

Okay. I'll remember that when Matt misses an open guy..

Okay. I'll remember that when Matt misses an open guy..

You'll selectively only remember the Matt misses I'm sure and ignore the completions and big plays and accurate throws.

You'll also probably ignore the pressure allowed on Stafford and the fact it's 3rd and 10 due to shitty running game.

bla, bla, bla

Still same shitty team that started 0-5...they just had a chance to play an equally shitty team.

Game on the road and we lose. Basted for 34 points and the last drive in the 4th was the ultimate FU by the defense. Couldn't protect a lead with 21 seconds..
