Game 6: Bears @ Lions Thread

No, no he's not. He's gotten picked on and failed ever since Manning made him look stupid.

Slay has been solid.

He's been right there all year......gotta learn to make a play on the ball other than going for the pick.

Manning/Palmer threw a couple of damn good balls to pretty good WR's......especially Demarius Thomas. Doesn't make him bad.

I'll say this. He hasn't been great.......but he's RIGHT THERE even on the play's hes getting beat. Slay is closer to great than he is to average.

What makes him bad on the Thomas throw is he got beat and arrived late. And then went for the INT. That's not being closer to great than average. I will give you one thing, he's closer to average than shit.

What makes Slay suck is an average corner doing his stupid finger wag the one or two times he actually defends a pass.

Seems like almost every corner does that. Not necessarily the finger wave, but some sort of celebration. Even when they are beat and the WR flat out drops the ball the corner's celebrate like they have done something great.

Yes...somebody made a gif

Just being "there" doesn't make him a good CB. I play a ton of pick up basketball, and I'm always "there" in good defensive posture, but I can't block someone's shot who is 6 foot 2.

We shouldn't compliment a professional CB for not getting beat. His job is that, as well as making a play on the ball. And he's been getting beat a ton this year.

Slay didn't get beat big against Seattle or the Bears really (50 QB rating allowed). One play against Arizona (with good coverage but a great throw by Palmer) and a PI against Bears. You guys just make stuff up in your heads.

He was in no mans land on the Alshon bomb that was caught on the 2 yard line....TOUCHDOWN!!! Go watch the tape.

Alshon didn't catch a deep TD. And that was Mathis on one of them after OPI when Jeffrey knocekd over Quddus

Jeffrey knocked over Quddus and Big play slay was standing there like a dufus.

Was it. It was left side of field. Lions CBs play sides and Mathis is always left. I'll check the tape and confirm. I'm 99% sure it was Mathis though.

Was Slay but Slay was covering Wilson from the right side. So I was right. Great play by Slay actually

You morons. Slay was covering Wilson deep too on a post. Jeffrey pushed Quddus and then Slay went off his guy to make the tackle. Slay gets a positive grade for that play

You idiots want him to cover two guys when he started on the right hand side of the field and had to go all the way left. Great play by Slay

Also Lions held for a FG on that drive. Slay saved 4 points

Plus it was OPI. Shoudn't have been any points for Chicago.

I hate you blind people so much.

I will post in case someone with some logic stumbles onto this site. I do it for them. You guys are beyond help.

The Slay hatred puts you guys at an all time low. Especially with what actually happened on that play.

Slay is a decent CB...you are a terrible poster.
