Geez thank god it was taking forever for my gamecast to go final it was like the Rodgers Hail Mary all over again.

Well, I'm watching ESPN Gamcast too. It was showing me that Washington called time out with three seconds left, then the Lions called time out - that's what was taking so long.

My game cast seemed to be in pretty much real time.

Would be nice to watch a blowout win more than once per season for a change...7 close games in a row.

Winning close will pay dividends in the long run. And to think we did this while missing so many starters on D is all around pretty impressive. Stafford was money again with the game on the line

Iggles just def Visqueens, maybe Lions can go 1-1 this season.

Cleveland could have all 3 of their pro-sports teams make history this year, but the Browns not in the way that they want...lol.

Webvideo Highlights of the Lions 20 - 17 come from behind win over the redskins.

Stafford finished 18-for-29 passing for 266 yards with one touchdown. He has now led 24 game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime in his career, and his NFL-best 22nd since 2011.

Rookie Graham Glasgow started over a healthy Laken Tomlinson at left guard. It was the first time Tomlinson did not start since Detroit took him 28th overall in last year's draft.

Clay Harbor started for Eric Ebron at tight end, and Zach Zenner earned a second straight start because of injuries to Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington at running back.

Long snapper Don "Death and Taxes" Muhlbach played in his 187th game for Detroit. That ties Robert Porcher for fifth most in franchise history. Next up on that list is Jeff Backus, who played in 191.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford played in the 100th game of his career, and did so with the most yards and completions by a quarterback in that span of time. He also became eligible to

Darius Slay left the game in the second quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return. Johnson Bademosi replaced him -- and immediately gave up a first-down catch, then later dropped a sure pick.

Stafford: ?I?d like to close out one of these earlier in the game, but that didn?t happen today,? he said. ?We know that no one believes in us, but we believe in each other, and that?s all it takes.?

Marvin Jones: ?We?ve got one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and he makes it fun to be out there with him,? Jones said. ?We?re trying to get down the field, and he throws me a side-arm pass. I don?t know who else can do that.?

Golden Tate: ?He?s just a special player,? Golden Tate said. ?We know No. 9 is going to step up and lead us, and we love him. We knew we had time, because Coach Caldwell gives us tougher situations than that every day in practice, and then he throws for 20 and runs for 20, and we?re right there.?

Caldwell: ?I think you are seeing the effects of veteran leadership,? Lions coach Jim Caldwell said. ?Matthew has been around the block a time or two, and he never backs down from a tough situation. He has shown many times that he?s dangerous at that time of a game, and the players around him know that.?
