Our defense was not good today but they gave us a chance in the game. The offense is terrible. I still don?t understand why Peterson still got the early touches. Swift looks so much better.

The defense didn't the ST did.

Peterson fits perfectly in bevells system. Only 1 to 2 million. Love the move for power back. Run often

Stafford has actually had much higher QB ratings without Calvin

Would be nice to have KG playing though. The picks were bad. We were already down 27-10 at that point just like down 14 before the pick 6 last week. He played well to that point even without KG, not much open weapons and mediocre protection. Also no practice this week with the COVID issue

Play some damn defense (34 points is not acceptable). Don't miss FGs Prater, don't drop balls Amendola and Swift, don't fumble out of bounds Swift when you could give Stafford a passing TD, don't run obvious plays with Peterson on 3rd and goal, don't get tackled short of the sticks (first drive)

Well over 200 rushing yards allowed. 3 TDs for Cousins. Packers did same thing to the Lions. It's completely unacceptable

Sadly I would rather have Tua right now. Matt is just making to many mistakes. Quinn so bungled the draft. He should have at least messed with the Dolphins and told everyone the Lions were going to pick him. Who knows a good offer may have been made.

No need to ?mess? w anyone w a top 3 pick. Tua or Herbert, that should have been the in-house discussion. Only in Detroit would we use a top 3 pick on a CB. Smh

Our defense is so bad I genuinely believe we could play with 12 defenders and still get shredded.

As bad as the Lions have been, the next 3 games are against really bad teams. 2-6 Washington and 3-6 Carolina should both have their 3rd string QBs playing. Then they have the 2-6 Texans.

The playoffs are out of the question at this point. It's time for the Lions to look towards the future. At least they have some really good building blocks to build around.

They will be in playoff contention if they win the next 4 at 7-5. But the last 4 they would have alot to prove

Other NFC teams keep losing too. Cardinals and Bears lost (and we play them), NFC East is garbage. Tampa lost (and we play them), Panthers lost (and we play them). Rams at 5-3 at bye. There are 3 wild card spots and the NFC is a mediocre mess.

However, if Detroit continues to play awful awful awful defense, it won't matter

And Stafford needs to stop throwing stupid picks when we are down double digits. He could lead us back if he didn't

And I like Justin Fields by the way. Lions have a hard time finding QBs. Stafford is the best one they found by far in 50 years. Be really careful what you wish for for QB changes

I like Swift. There is no reason not to make him the every down back at this point.

Jonah Jackson? Has played pretty damn well. All rookie team at mid-season.

Okudah? I know he has been hot garbage. I watch the games.....but it's hard to judge any DB on this roster with the assinine schemes we run.

Walker? Solid S. Again, hard to tell in this scheme.

Thats about it.

That said....I think the Lions are a better team than what we're putting on the field. Is this a Super Bowl contender.....of course not. A playoff contender......not really. But there is no excuse for the ass kickings on a regular basis. This is, by far, the poorest coached team in the league. I don't think it's close.

All teams have to do is run crossing routes. We cant cover them. If you have a back that can get open against Jamie Collins.....we can't cover them. If they get inside the 10.....misdirection plays.....we can't cover them.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
