Game 9: Lions @ Bears Thread

and is it just me or was our D-line lined up offside on nearly every single play?

I swear Fairely's hand is lined up with the ball every play. I guess it's not a big deal.

him and Young. They do it constantly. If the Blue LOS line means anything, we had guys with their hands on over over the line on nearly every play. DIdn't see it too much out of Chicago, but they had a couple, too.

Must be their checkered past history that still makes me apprehensive, suspicious, and reticient, but the Lions "should" be able to win at least four of their next five games, of which they should really win them all, if not most handily given their opponents' respective records and the likely absence of discount double-check on Turkey Day. vs Ravens and @ the Eagles are the only games that might be troublesome and the Packers always play the Lions tough no matter who is under center. "Trap" game might be @ Steelers though.

It's amazing what being a long time Lion's fan does to one's psyche. Every kickoff today brought back repressed memories of what Hester and Knox (although he's gone now) has done to us in the past.

Great Win for the Lions.
Calvin breaks Herman Moore's record for TD catches.
Lions OL 0 sacks, 0 QB hits,
Suh + Fairley each w/ a Sack and 4 QB hits.

Saw a stat that Staff is the least sacked QB in the league. Our OL sure has been improved this year. Warford has been so much better than we could have expected.

I read something a couple weeks okay where he either was first or 2nd when it comes to getting the ball and throwing the ball..so he makes his decisions very quick.

Not hearing Peppers name today was nice.

Yeah he has been the fastest but I do think overall it's improvement by him and the o line play.

oline has been great....easily the best positional group on the team. Really our entire offense has played well. Id rank them:

Oline
RB
QB
WR (only this high cause of CJ lol)
TE

Defensively:

LB
DL
DB

I'm not discrediting the O-line, but keep in mind that Stafford has one of the quickest releases in the NFL, which will alone keep the sack count down. The running game is mediocre, but overall I agree it's been better than I thought.

Even at mediocre our running game this year is much better than years past. Some of that is the addition of Reggie but its also improved OL.

This is a trait all the great pocket passers have.

I might change LB to Levy who has been a beast.

I'm starting to dig Bell. CJ had 17 targets for his 6 catches..a few too many misses.
