Game 9: Lions @ Bears Thread

It's not Friday yet bud. Don't think that is the latest practice news.

A normal player and it wouldn't be a concern but its Jason Fox who has spent the better half of a half decade on the injury list. So let me get this straight, Fox is okay but Slay is a piece of shit?

If they pull Waddle off the field and put that walking workmans comp claim on the field we should all riot.

He's there for insurance :lmao:

Let the backup guy, who gets injured by just waking up, have a job :hehe:

The guy that won the starting job in training camp. Yep. But Hilliard being back this week may bump Fox to 3rd string.

I remember when Joey Harrington won a starting gig in training camp. Doesn't mean he was worth keeping..

Have a nice day and I mean that. I don't feel like arguing anymore..

Fox knows the system well, former starter. Great backup to have.

Former starter? Where, college?

Believe it or not, he actually started two games this season (the first two of his career).

Week 1 against Minnesota, injured his groin on the second series

Week 5 at Green Bay, injured his knee at some point

I knew that about Minny but didn't really count it because it was for just a couple minutes.

Didn't realize he started against GB. But my point remains the same, why not get a backup T that is injury free..

Because it's midseason and Fox knows the system and has talent.

He'll probably be on the IR soon Mitch, don't worry.

Not on the practice report yet again. Healthy

He will be if he gets in on a play. HE'S a bad backup if you can't count on him getting through a game. If Waddle does get hurt do you have confident Fox could take his place for an entire game?

He hasn't yet so why would you be okay with it?

He has no injury going forward that would hinder him. Plus Hilliard is back at practice. So no worries either way.
