Game 9: Lions @ Packers Thread

In before the NFL investigates the football on that last kick, rules it wasn't properly inflated, and they redo the kick on Wednesday before next week's games.

I want to say I never wavered in my prediction but....that was 1:50 seemed like 24 years.

That makes sense. I knew there was more to this game.

Sheldon White was on the active roster for the Lions in that 1991 win. He's now our interim GM... Coincidence?

Longest two minutes I have ever had in my entire life.

I know it's a common trope. So much it's actually cliche, but it seemed like an eternity. Time was moving in hours not minutes.

If it is coincidence, it's a cool one. That's pretty awesome actually.

I agree... all the way. That last two minutes seem longer than the first 58.

It was like we crammed 24 years worth of Lions mistakes into the last two minutes. The only thing that was missing was them tying it on the two point conversion and us winning the coin toss and taking the wind.

That may have been the worst kick ever. It wasn't blocked. I saw the replay. It was just that bad.

It finally happened.. We can now close the Lions part of DSF and start a new one.

I thought that it must have made contact with the longsnapper's ass until I saw the replay

I know people say all the time they'd like to see CJ traded so he has a chance at a SB but I'd like to see him traded because I just don't think he's as good as he's getting paid. Drops a lot of passes, never picks up YAC and makes stupid plays like staying in bounds instead of going out and stopping the clock. I'd rather have another Golden Tate type receiver but a bit taller.

This doesn't have the feeling I thought I would have after finally winning in GB. Kind of a buzz kill.
