Gardner looking pretty good

It would be pretty funny to see ohio go undefeated in their bowl ban season, at least. Highly unlikely to happen again anytime soon, and it would serve as a lesson to kids to take their punishment when due, instead of lying and carrying on a,story just to stave off the inevitable

All their AD had to do was take it last year during their 6-6 season but he refused believing the NCAA wouldnt band them like they did. So I to find it funny.

Gene Smith is an ass who should've been swept out with Tressel. Somehow he survived.

Whether or not OSU took self-probation last year, the NCAA would have enforced this year as well, in my opinion. Not doing so would have been interpreted as letting them off the hook and the outcry would have been enormous.

I thought Gee would be gone too, after his stupid remarks and handling of the scandal. Somehow he survived too.

there's a reason they survived in spite of their rank incompetence, dishonesty, and general sleaziness...

Yes, politics. more specifically, their willingness to "look the other way" and/or "stick their heads in the sand" when it comes to NCAA investigations/violations.

Couldn't agree more. Politics. It's all the same.

I think the roommates rumor is a misinterpretation of this:

but Gee and Emmert have significant history.

So Emmert asked Colorado President Gordon Gee if he'd agree to let him shadow the CU president for a year.

Gee was already an academic legend, having been appointed a university president while still in his 30s. After Colorado he would go on to head Ohio State, Brown and Vanderbilt. "We all but lived together, and living with Gordon is an education," Emmert recalls. "He is the most energetic person I've known. In one year, I got five years of experience."

So I see Gardner and Denard are going 50/50 with the snaps. Gardner it is this week?

Whilee DG definitely surpassed my expectations last week, I really hope DR is able to start and make a good chunk of rushing yards. He won't have many more opportunities to break Pat White's rushing record and it would be nice to have one great achievement out of the RR mess, a silver lining if u will.

At least we know if Denard cant play or if he gets hurt we can put Devin in and should be OK.

I think Shoelace will be remembered fondly and already has quite a few Michigan football records...

Most rushing Yds by an opponent in NDsucks Stadium history ...
Longest rush from scrimmage by an opponent in NDsucks Stadium history ...
Sugar Bowl Champ,
4th Quarter Win in First Night Game in M Stadium history ...
Most rushing Yds by an M QB ...
