Sorry i did not help out and posted the game thread.. I played 6 rounds of standard MTG last night that went till 1:30 am and did much better then last week... Still way out of the money but much better. Then I had no sleep as in none, and got up to take pictures of my wife winning the masters 5 k Byron center run for here age group 40-49 for the second time..then my daughter marched in the BC parade for high school then i had to cook 30 hot dogs for here group then we had hamburgers for our friends. i need a nap before fireworks at 10 pm.. What i heard of the game was not good.. Maybe Sunday!!!!! Go tigers...

This is because there are very few stud players, while there are over a hundred players that would qualify as a solid contributor.

What you fail to realize is that I never said you only need one or two studs to win.

Look at batting and pitching stats and tell me Chicago is better with all those solid contributors? You won't be able to. They have better defense, that's about it. They're pretty close which is why they close in the race. You mention quality vs quality.

Just look at a few of those guys having monster years, Kornerko, Sele, Dunn, Rios etc. They are all having huge years over last years numbers which is why they're competing and last year they weren't.

That won't continue for future years. Last year Chicago had Raburn, Delmon Young, Porcello etc.
