Hoops vs FSU

last nights game was the first game I watched the entire tournament. Boring game. While there was some good defense, it was also sloppy and nobody could knock down a shot. But, if you're a UM fan it doesn't matter. A win's a win.

First game you watched the entire tournament? That was anything BUT boring. It was extremely compelling.

By the way, your whole trim the tourney down to 32 teams theory is looking pretty bad. Got an 11 seed in the F4, two 9 seeds made it to the E8.

yes, first game. I was on vacation for the first weekend and my bracket was already busted.

My theory will be bad if that 11 seed wins it. The 9s are out...right?

Trimming the tournament down is the dumbest idea ever. March Madness is the best postseason in all of sports.

So what if it's already busted? Who's isn't? You have to put aside the personal investments and enjoy the games for what they are.

No, it's already invalid. Saying that those Cinderella teams have to win the tournament is ridiculous.

14 turnovers should equal at least a 10 point lead. That is how horrible we are shooting.

Dumbfuck Kenny just called us Michigan St, ha.

Yeah that happened twice last night. WTF?!?!? Pissed me off

The Duncan flagrant 1 foul in the 1st half was horrible, but did anyone notice, that was like the last foul that was called on the MIchigan the entire half after getting 5 in 5 minutes.

And, yes, ML the freakin' announcers were pissing me off sucking off on FSU almost the entire game...at least until Michigan went up by 10 in the 2nd, then every time FSU got a basket, they'd say they were coming back!! WTF?!?! again

Too many wide open misses

In the first half, MIchigan was missing contested 3's. They couldn't figure out FSU's d at all. In the 2nd half, Michigan was missing wide open 3's. I guess that is a good thing. They figured out the FSU D, but kept missing.

They should open up the tournament to everyone. Set 60 like they do now, and the other 280 play in down to the first four in.

She and the guys were right.

He blew ass.

The chances of winning were 1 in 25 at best - probably closer to 1 in 100 - so fucking what?

Your chance of winning if you don't foul are zero.

Play for the last 10 fucking seconds.

EDIT: seriously as fucking hell, I'm watching the end of the game with my wife, and I watch the defender drop off Robinson, and I ask the wife "why the fuck are they not fouling him?"

I'm 99.9999% certain Duncan would've drained those ft's, but yeah, the play is to foul. March is made on shit like that, but I thought, "Sweet! I'll take it!"

I have no clue, but I like our special needs kid in the wheelchair. My son has friend who looks just like him.

Is it a him? Thanks for letting me know this. I'm being serious here. The person's name is "Jude" so I didn't know.

Sister Jean vs Jude!!

looking ahead to the next game, I have to admit, the Sister Jean thing is a sweet story.

I hope no Michigan fans post horrible takes about her, and get everyone rooting against us.

I don't see why an atheist would care about the Sister Jean story...

Didn't really help when Mathews, Rahkman, and Wagner were making jokes when asked about her last night. Should have just said, "...haven't been paying attention to much outside of this team but I respect her and their school."

They didn't really say anything wrong, but I can see how oversensitive PC America could have taken their words as disrespectful.

Most of America had probably turned off the TV and went to bed, like me.

I know several people that have Michigan in the finals, also Villanova, Kansas, and/or Duke.

She has been chaolain to basjetball team since earky 1990s ( had been academic administrator at Mundelein college which loyola bought). Sge also helps scout opponents

I don't really know what the Sister Jean story is. She's a school nun that likes the team. OK? Anything else?

There were certain events going back to before she gave her life to the Lord, but no need for those to be of any concern now.
