I agree with that but for one exception.....I bet Brady wishes he had Matts fastball. Brady can't sling it like Staff can.

I bet Brady looks at all his rings then worries about his arm strength daily.

Not saying much. But I agree, he's THE best Lions qb ever. Could probably say that about at least 10 qbs in the league right now though.

He's not the best ever. Statistically, sure. But I'll take Bobby Layne. But the Lions history at QB sucks..I recently read an article of best QB Lions history and Scott Mitchell was 5 and Eric Kramer was 4. That's pathetic.

As terrible as Mitchell was.....look at his '95 season. One of the 20 best statistical seasons EVER to that point.

It wasn't a ranking on one season. Overall he sucked like all the rest..as his career 55%, 95 TD to 81 INT ratio, to his horrible rating..can attest to.

With the most electric runner in nfl history in his backfield, and 2 great wrs.

If Chris Houston is well enough to get on the field, I expect him to make an impact. If he's that hurt, he wouldn't be out there. He was clearly able to play. After that, all bets are off. It's the NFL, everyone is hurt. I remember Nick Lidstrom had a great playoff series, Wings lost, and it came out that he had a fractured ball sack. These guys are pros for a reason, they can play through more than we can in pick up games and intramurals. A sore hammy is no excuse for him to suck. The guy was burned more than anyone in recent memory in Lions blue. If he was that good, the staff would have waited for him to get better. He's not. You defended the guy, and now you defend the move of cutting him. You got caught, and you need to learn how to take your medicine.

The only reason he got cut was injury. There is no medicine to take. I wish he was healthy and on the team. More bad luck

He was healthy enough to start, so healthy enough to not play like the worst cb in the league. Chris Houston failed cuz he sucks

These poor Lions, they can't seem to catch a break. The other teams don't have to deal with ANY of this bad luck. The winds seem to pick up right when Stafford is throwing. The rain catches the Lions when they are trying to come back. The snow only impacts them in the half that it comes down.

Lol. Poor Stafford, his receivers don't catch enough balls thrown behind them or 10 ft over their heads. Fucking garbage receivers

I always pose the question, could you imagine if Stafford had to play outside for his home games? I don't think he would have won a game yet.

2011 was fine at lambeau. At Chicago 2011 not as good with broken finger. Shouldn't see a blizzard like that again at Philly. Stafford was the only one making plays at Pittsburgh. Everyone was hurt but Calvin in 2012 at Green Bay. He is just fine in bad weather

Can't wait for at Chicago and at Green Bay this year. At pats in November could be fun too

He is???? I could have sworn like 3 or 4 pages back you said the reason Stafford went 0-9 against Pittsburgh was because it was windy/raining out... Weird, maybe I imagined that.

Drops and pressure and should be pi on 3rd and 5. Great throw to Calvin. 0-9 not his fault. Only one bad throw of the 9. I just watched the game again this morning

Why you would want to watch that p.o.s. game a second time is beyond me. Pathetic really. While you're at go watch the last 8 games again, and tell us again how great Stafford is. Get some meds guy, your delusional
