To be fair brewer, that's an unfair comparison because it really depends on play calling as to how a QB responds to drops.

The numbers will be skewed completely by whether the team calls more runs or more passes. It's not the QBs job to say "He dropped one, I'm throwing on the next down" it's the coaches job to call up the plays.

Don't get me wrong, I see your point, it's just a bad comparison to make. What defines an elite QB more than anything is the ability to put the ball where he needs to with the game on the line. Stafford just isn't that good yet. He's not elite yet. He may never be.

But the fact is, he is the best QB this team has had since Layne, and we should be more appreciative of him as fans. He's sure as hell not Rodney Pete, Joey Harrington, Charlie Batch, etc...
