How the Mueller Investigation Could Play Out for Trump

One of Trump's henchmen was facing charges in NY recently and his lawyer (evidently he got a lawyer from Fox News) tried the "BUT HILLARY...!" defense in court, and the judge just said "Maybe you're right, but Hillary isn't the one facing charges, you are, and that's not an argument for this court."

Trump brought up Hillary's emails on FOX yesterday while talking about Manafort.

The always Trumpers are nothing but hypocrites. If any democratic president had done a smidge of what trump has done they would be calling for his removal. What is sad is how almost half of this country believes the LIES coming from Fox News , and his administration. The cover the GOP has given to Trump and all his lying is unprecedented. Hopefully it will come back to destroy the GOP and Trump.

Oh and the tariffs are costing a lot more jobs then they are creating.

Still better than what we had, Trump is trying to leave the playing field it was long overdue, give the negotiator time it's all part of the process to a better deal. What did the dems do all those years, nothing that worked, more of the same wasn't going to cut it bob.

Summer Zervos, Jill Harth, and Ivana Trump all filed in court.

Public allegations that weren't taken to court (yet): Jessica Leeds, Kristin Anderson, Cathy Heller, Natasha Stoynoff, Ninni Laaksonen, Cassandra Searles...and I'm just going to stop there because the list is quite long and I know that it won't matter. Like you said, as long as he's 'making trade agreements', it doesn't matter what he does. Money talks (and shit walks).

Bill is/was a scumbag. Not sure how he's relevant to the conversation. Reminds me of any time Trump gets criticized. "But Obama....But Hillary...What about..."

If Trump supporters really think Hillary/Obama was awful (and I won't argue in many ways they were) why are they constantly using them as the bar to measure up? Doesn't make sense to me.

I'll research them all one by one as time permits your specific statement was grabbed by as per his taped bus comment. I don't see that allegation on the first one thus far. He made advancements trying to get some, was rejected and backed off that appears to be his pattern, tries, gets rejected a lot, backs off, tries someone else. It's not secret he likes women. Maybe when the dems start supporting fair trade again I'll consider one again. Until then Trump is doing a fantastic job for the country IMO.

He wants to know why his guys get charged with process crimes and/or things not related to the 2016 election campaign while other crimes committed by others those in the other party are allowed to get away with it all. I think it's a fair question. Those emails were subpoenaed them removed and bleachbit. oh hum oh well no big deal. Obstruction doesn't matter unless it was trump or someone associated with trump. Once trump is impeached he'll be de-platformed as well then nobody will have to listen to his BS anymore and you can all enjoy your echo chambers.

de-platformed...

I think I asked you what this meant on the censorship thread and I forget what you said...

deplatforming.

Not too familiar with site. Urban Dictionary has pretty much the same definition.

Nothing on Merriam-Webster or other sort of standard dictionaries regarding this term.

It's tough to really believe in any of them when they all get so wealthy.

One thing I liked about Biden (if true) is that people claimed he was one of the least wealthy Congressmen.

Among other things: Joe Biden was responsible for allowing the attacks on Anita Hill that allowed Clarence Thomas to get confirmed.

and pushing the extreme legislation in '05 at the behest of lenders that student loans could not be discharged in bankruptcy. That's contributed to skewing college tuition and the awful debt burden many bear. I've read that the idea graduates were declaring bankruptcy to escape student loan debt was largely a myth pushed to get this legislation through. thanks joe!

He's also been more or less anti-worker, anti-middle class, pro Wall Street and pro-Invading Middle Eastern countries during his entire tenure. he's not progressive in any sense, but he plays one on TV.

Nevertheless, I'm sure the 50% of the population that gets their news from Fox, Breitbart, etc. considers Biden a dangerous socialist, communist, terrorist-comforter.

Well, why'd he do it if he wasn't getting paid?

I guess things are a matter of perception. Good thing the people of Delaware at least didn?t elect an actual real Republican, I suppose.

I can?t find a video clip of it anywhere. I remember seeing Biden on TV saying that while he was on Capitol Hill he had pretty much the lowest net worth of any member of Congress.

It was investigated. Half the deleted emails were recovered. Based on what was in that half, some of which shouldn't have been deleted, the investigation concluded that the deleted emails were omitted by mistake and not by an effort to conceal. Of course, Comey was in charge at the time, and even though he's thought to have been a significant factor in Trump winning with his decision to go to Congress with the story of the investigation, for some reason, some will point to Comey as a reason the investigation can't be trusted.

So there was an investigation into the investigation. It found no political bias. Here's 568 pages of details:

Being an apparently socialist, but secretly pro-big bank double agent is the kind of thing a guy should get paid for. I don't get why you do that out of the goodness of your heart and an undying love of big banks.

Maybe the whole "poverty" claim is a load of crap.

Maybe he's secretly the richest guy in the world from underhanded dealings.

Notice that "Biden" and "Bribe" both have a B, an I, and an E in them.

Coincidence?

Not so fast...

Whoa!

He's Gustavo Fring! Smart enough to not flash his wealth. Wipe the tables at Los Pollos Hermanos by day, rake in the loot by night.

no affirmative evidence skewed decision-making for political reasons. But he says he ?did not have confidence? ?was free from bias"

Anyway, it doesn't matter because the IG does not have the authority to charge, only refer to the DOJ, there Sessions nor Rod will do anything, Session is conflicted out as so should Rod have been but isn't, SC appointed is also conflicted but nothing will come of it. The trump overthrow is on a path to success. I don't see this has a good thing at all. Look to Europe if you want to know what happens down the road after their successful overthrow. I see the UK just put Tommy back in jail. smh. don't think this crap can't happen here Jones is just the beginning.

I only saw the first few episodes of Breaking Bad; my Wi-Fi for streaming Netflix wasn't working very well at the time I started watching. Maybe just as well as Better Call Saul happens first.

I probably started watching BCS mostly because I became acquainted with Bob Odenkirk at the dog park.

After BCS is over, maybe I'll cancel my Netflix streaming and upgrade to three videos from two, and binge watch Breaking Bad.

Who said that? The report I just posted isn't a person.

I don't think I can weigh in on what it would be like to watch Better Call Saul first, without the context of Breaking Bad. My imagination for how I'd react to getting years of details in a different order isn't that good. On one hand, I think a show that's written to explain why certain people end up the way they end up is missing the context when you watch them out of the order they were created, but on the other, I've heard that younger people that saw the Star Wars prequels first love them, while older people are less attached or even dislike them.

I?ve wondered what it would be like to binge watch a series backwards; starting with the film alley and then going back ordered and finishing with the pilot.

The great film Memento were structured a little like that.

Memento is amazing. My instinct is that a show has to be written with that intention for it to work, but Star Wars might be a counter example to my instinct.

That was part of what the inspector general said in his report. Sorry since you posted a link to the 568 page PDF report I thought you were familiar with what it said.

So now Trump is saying that if he were gone the market would crash and everyone would be poor. So, my gut says Trump will get bogged down enough in legal issue (though probably not removed from office) and only serve 1 term, so when the chickens come home to roost over his stupid trade efforts, the chunk of the country that still approves of him will still blame other factors, even after we have a few years of results that show the Trump presidency to be an undesirable inflection point in GDP and budget deficit charts (which I think it will be.)
