When was the last time Trump had any facts supporting his side? I could never blindly support a president who lies every single day. You have your opinion and I have mine. Hopefully we only have 4 years of this guy before the GOP, and Trump really destroy this country.
Officially only 2.5 more years and counting I am sure. Trump gets some facts - he gets briefed by the best our intelligence agencies have to offer. Whether he then gives the American people any of the facts is what I think you are saying, no? Don't misinterpret my defense of conservative values for defense of this particular POTUS. I mentioned it before, but it may bear repeating. I respect and defend the office, not necessarily the man in the office. There were times that Obama boiled my blood, but I always respected the office, and I will continue to do so, even if that puts me on the opposite side of all the hysterical rants. I will never, ever, root for our president or our country to fail. That is just how I am wired.
I don't blindly support anyone, but just because you don't believe there are any reasons, doesn't means others can't find actual good reasons.
Lastly, Trump and the GOP are NOT destroying this country. If its being destroyed, it is by everyone. But no matter, I do not believe it is being destroyed at all - our country has gone through many worse situations, and come through just fine. I think many will end up finding that this will be our Democracy's finest hour when they see that it actually works as it was supposed to. Even if that means impeachment, 1-term only, etc.
Short term - bash away at him - that is everyone's right. Me personally? I am just praying that a large majority of people realize eventually that we are on the same side. Over time, Americans generally do, and that is what makes America great, not some slogan. If you want to know what I believe - that's it in a nutshell.
