I bet when he was in Detroit helping out under privileged kids, everything was ok then...If he's a thug, why didn't the adult citizens of Det stand up and stop him from reaching the kids? Would I say Lynch has made mistakes, of course. Even he'd admit that but to call the man a thug? He isn't even close. Like I've said, he's a hard worker, earns an honest living, gives back to communities and has his own foundation for kids. There is nothing thuggish about any of that.

We have a problem going on in our country right now. Unarmed young adults and even kids our people killed. Unjustified murders are taking place and it all starts with the way we're viewing and judging people. When the wrong person starts labeling a person a "thug" for minor mistakes or by the way they look, they don't have a chance. It's sad, it's a problem and it's costing lives.

There are plenty of black athletes that I follow all the time and heap praise on them all day. And they are the respectful hard working ones. You talk of marshawn like he is calvin Johnson. You want imagery changed in communities? Then go to work and be respectful. Don't show young black children that look up to you that grabbing your nuts and saying fuck you to your bosses is appropriate behavior. And to get into trouble with the law many times leading to suspension in your career. He is far from a saint. And far from being a role model.
