Is anyone else getting sick of marshawn lynch?

You don't get it. "Hey coach I almost killed a woman but I'm here working hard.."

No you don't get it...You said you judge him from the crimes he committed but LOL when I bring up others like Beiber and Lohan who have committed similar crimes...So why is he a thug and their not?

When Lynch gets a DUI he's a thug...But let me guess, when you look back at yours, you were a 20yr old kid who made a mistake?

I don't think he is a thug for getting a DUI...poor choice yes but not a thug. Now, a felony gun charge and hitting a woman with your SUV and leaving the scene...those two things are taking it up a notch.

Who's calling him a thug on a DUI? It's because he also had a hit and run and a gun charge..

Who says I don't think they're thugs. I was laughing because I didn't think anyone would bring them up in a football forum.

Well they are both brought up...Both have committed crimes in their careers, some similar to Lynch.

So I ask you Mitch, do you think Bieber and Lohan are thugs?

Damn right I do..

So now you hear how fucken stupid your sound!

Thank you Mitch!

It was a quote from a movie..I guess you missed that. But if these are the people you stick up for .. well I don't know what to say. I heard a former NE Patriot is on trial..maybe you can talk about him.

Hey I will answer.

They are both thugs, but which of those two cunts is going to be able to break four tackles and score a touchdown?

Neither one, that's which.

I honestly hope he's suspended for the SuperBowl, which they could do after his previous fines.

503 why are you defending Marshawn Lynch from being called a thug when that is exactly the kind of persona he is trying to cultivate? Take a look at some of the pictures below (some others I can't link but Google image Marshawn Lynch Oakland) and take a look at the face your boy puts forward to the world. Now me I don't care. I love Lynch because to me he is an athlete I admire for what he does on the field, and like Chuck said...I am not a role model. But to harp on Mitch for calling him a thug based on his superficial knowledge of the dude is way off base, because going by appearance, yeah, looks like a thug. I don't see no patent clerk with some gangsta grizills. Hell hit the negative function on your photoshop and make him white, it makes no difference, the clothes make the man at first glance. But whatever that's Marahawn's steeze and I'm not one to judge. But at the same time I don't judge someone for judging him based on what Lynch himself puts out to the world either 503. It's unfortunate all we have got to go off in a lot of cases is superficial knowledge of one another but you have to take responsibility for that face you put out.

I am not a hipster and I find that racist against my race that anyone would presume that. Don't call me hipster.

In all honestly, I believe the word "thug" is the new way to call a black man the N word. That word gets tossed around too loose. You can't call him the N word these days so the word "thug" is used in it's place a lot of times.

If you had a picture of Marshawn holding somebody up at gun point and reaching in their pocket. Or a picture of Marshawn and his entourage jumping somebody, then I'd agree. But a picture of him smiling with gold teeth or flipping off a camera with his own people taking the picture...Not close to thuggish acts.

Oakland, Bay area, Mac Dre, they were the ones who started the gold grillz look...That's an Oakland thing, where he's from. Doesn't mean he's a thug, just a hometown look.

"In all honestly, I believe the word "thug" is the new way to call a black man the N word."

You are correct. It's a term that's only used when referring to black guys.

So your saying you can't see my point at all? That if all you got to go on with a man is looks you judge him based on that. All MLK tried to do was take color out of the equation, and to a large degree it worked. I don't think even MLK had the power to extend that to a white tee, tats, fitted and some dirty grills. Shit man bikers get labeled thugs all the time, most of them dudes is white and some of them are in 'gangs' that protect abused kids and stuff. It ain't a race thing.

I feel like a broken record...If you guys think Lynch is a "thug" then you don't have a clue what the hell a "thug" is.

Sadly unarmed young men are being killed in our society because people are quick to judge and react on a stereotype look. Americans are being unjustifiably murdered because of this, it's a problem.

shouldn't you be more concerned that black men in urban areas get tattoos like "thug life" and sing saying how proud they are to be thugs? This badass I can do whatever attitude? Hey wait? Isn't that what marshawn does?

Also you can find a ton of marshawn pics flashing gang signs. Maybe you'll tell me an extravagant story that the gang he belongs to isn't like other gangs they actually serve in soup kitchens and performs baptisms throughout the community.

I don't think Lynch is a thug. Obviously I don't know the man. If that's the face he puts forward to the world then it's fair he be judged that way by people who don't know him, hell he may even encourage it. And I'm not saying it's right to judge someone based on the clothes they wear, I'm sure there were some serial killers that were real snappy dressers, BUT if someone shows up with a machete and a Jason mask it makes people think a certain way. Not black, not white, just a fact of life. If you are talking about police officers, then sometimes these guys have to make life or death decisions based on superficial evidence, I'm not saying that justifies every case but that is something we have to take into consideration.
