Is Stafford a top 5 QB?

Mitch[/color]]Take away Calvin? Lmao. Take away Jerry Rice. Take away Steve Smith and Cam is Caleb Hanie :) .

Come on, no one is Caleb Hanie bad :)

You just named two Wrs completely different. Rice and smith need accurate qbs to get them the ball. Calvin is a freak. 6'5 240 and fast and with a big vert leap.

He's like a 30lbs heavier randy moss.

Calvin put up good numbers with shaun hill[/quote:q5ed39s2]

He wouldn't have yesterday. Hill couldn't get it that far downfield.

and what were shaun hills numbers total?....

stafford can only be considered top 5 if he has garbage wr's around him apparently..just like brady/brees/rodgers/romo/eli...they don't have ANY receivers whatsoever..

I remember shaun hill starting in fantasy leagues last year.

Look up games vs the better teams, that stopped calvin for the most part. And look at staffords numbers.

Not any that compare to calvin. Fitzgerald and andre might be the only ones who compare.

you also have to keep in mind that outside of calvin..we have no running game..and nobody truly explosive on offense because of that... i could see why his numbers are down...titus young has a chance to be something for us..but he's still a rookie...but pettigrew/burleson/scheffler are more like role players and guys who can keep some chains moving here and there..not good enough to consistently win some 1on1 matchups..

last year vs the Jets...Calvin had 1 catch for 13 yards.

Stafford threw for 240 and 2 TDs in 3 quarters of play.

Is that like saying a great QB has a lesser game against a good defense? Well no shit, lol.

It took you to go back to last year to find one.

There's a difference between playing lesser, and playing bad mitch

lol....Calvins pretty much abused everyone this year.

you said find a "good" defense that shutdown CJ that Stafford did well against.

I did....he doesn't get hurt , they beat the Jets.

Green bay this year....CJ has 4 catches for 49 yards.

Staff still tossed for 280

Lmao I love that if he doesn't get hurt with a quarter left, its a fact detroit wins. But even though rodgers missed the whole 2nd half, its a fact gb wouldn't win even if he played the whole game.

And calvin hasn't abused everyone. He's been quiet and the lions have lost some.

Stafford is 16th in passing yards per attempt. If he didn't throw it 530 times, his numbers would be similar to matt ryans.
