Jim Bob Cooter gone as Detroit Lions OC now signs w/ jets

I feel ya man. I do.
I had to listen to Caputo just now on the radio basically telling us that Stafford is getting traded and it's probably to Dallas lol. Then he was literally (and i'm not making this up) speaking in a handicap voice mocking Lions fans. Caputo is a clown. How people take him serious is beyond me lol.

Haha, well there is a big reason Caputo used to do an evening show in a pretty good slot (6 PM) and got moved to a Saturday morning slot for a few hours. He goes entire segments without stopping and is very, very rude to the callers.

The sad part is he probably has more raw data and information in his head compared to everyone else, but he presents his information in such a horrible and condescending way.

Godsey would make no sense to me. If he was the guy...then why wouldnt you fire Cooter during the season and give Godsey a working interview. He does have some Belicheck ties...scary.

If you listened to the entire Detroit Lions Podcast, you might be so quick to give him a failing grade.

"Jim Bob Cooter didn't have his best season and lost his job, but he probably was hamstrung by Matt Patricia and his conservative approach."

While Cooter was the man responsible for the playcalls, Matt Patricia admitted that he had some say on what happened from a philosophy standpoint on offense, particularly when it came to how aggressive or conservative the approach was.

Maybe we are blaming the wrong guy.

Well I am sure Patricia's seat is warm but he will be here at least 2 more seasons, unless they won under 5 games next year.

What is he going to blame himself and get himself fired? Someone's head has to roll. Could you imagine if Quinn re-signed Cooter?

I think that's a load of shit. Patricia has been on record saying this was Cooter's offense

Yes but he said he was the one responsible for the conservative scheme. Yet we all blame JB for being conservative.
