Probably somebody editing it to mess with people.

After looking at several coach wiki pages over the past day or so, I'll give you my reasons why.

"(offensive coordinator)" - everywhere else I see "(OC)"
There's no blurb in his career section about joining the Detroit Lions
There's no blurb in his intro about being part of the Detroit Lions
The border color around his bio box is still gray and not the Lions blue
There's no "Current Position" in his bio box

Compare this all to the Caldwell page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Caldwell_(American_football)



Personally, I think Wikipedia is a great source provided there's good moderation/oversight, but I wouldn't put any stock in using it as some sort of breaking news source.

It could end up being true, but as of now it's all just a rumor.

All it talks about is Caldwell and Tressel's connection, doesn't mean that he's hired. There's probably a decent chance he ends up here in some capacity, but I haven't read anything that pegs him as the next OC.

but as far as wiki goes.....Lazors page had him listed as the lions OC.....so ya....don't go by that until the Lions announce it....then unannounced it cause another team grabbed the guy they wanted....then they announce someone else. Cause that's how this shit show is ran around these parts!

Team wants accountability but a Rat tre$$el hire is just the opposite message. He cheated at YSU and left behind a mess... He left O$U after covering up tattoo gate let alone the Clarrett mess.. The guy is a cheater....

I just disagree completely.. You want a team without any PR nightmares.. He covered up the whole tattoo gate so his players could play instead of suspending them. The Lions do not need this guy.. Rat tre$$el is a cheater... I want him nowhere near the lions..

Plus his offense is so damn conservative it would make Scott L's offense look like the run and shoot..

i actually mind tressel less than some guy that got a bunch of qbs fired. atleast were moving in the right direction....slowly moving....but moving.
