Josh Mccown released by Bucs

Every schedule in the NFL is difficult. The differences between the hardest and the easiest are always like .5.

Doesn't really matter, they are the best team in the NFL, the Lions are a good team, nothing more. We value playoff appearances, they value super bowls. We coddle our athletes and give them 9000 years until we give up on them, other franchises expect the best.

Pats lost to Bills Week 17 at home.

right...week 17 when the Pats already clinched home field throughout the playoffs. Pats went on to win 3 playoff games and another SB title...the Lions lost yet another playoff game...no playoff wins in 24 years!

Pats got 2 home playoff games and a neutral site for Seattle (different team away). Lions went 11-5 and didn't even get one home playoff game.

The AFC is garbage.

Who the hell did the NFC have this year besides Green Bay and Seattle????

AFC had 5 teams below .500, NFC had 7. Sound likes they are real tough.

look at point differential. There were only 5 AFC teams with a negative point differential...there were 10 NFC teams.

Oakland, Jax, Ten, Jets are garbage. Just Washington and Bucs in NFC. Giants and Bears clearly better than any of those AFC teams.

Rams are tougher than Browns.

Chargers, Texans, Chiefs and Bills are vastly overrated in AFC. I'd take Saints, Falcons, Vikings, Eagles over all those teams.

49ers better than Dolphins.
Zona on par maybe better than Steelers.
Lions better than Ravens
Dallas and Carolina better than Indy and Cincy
Green Bay better than Broncos.
Pats better than Seattle (depends where played)

I'd say Pats on par with Seattle, GB, Detroit, Dallas really

You would take the 7-9 New Orleans and 6-10 Atlanta over 9-7 San Diego, and a 9-7 Houston??? Dude come on, put down the beer.

Their record is inflated in weak AFC. Yes i would take 7-9 New Orleans and 6-10 Falcons.

San Diego went 3-1 against the NFC, including a win over the Seahawks. Come on man, you gotta come stronger than that.

The AFC has 3 terrible teams and the NFC has 2.

As far as the playoff teams

NE > Seattle
Denver = GB
Pitt < Dallas
Indy > Carolina
Cinci > AZ
Baltimore > Lions

Tom, I'd take Baltimore over the Lions. They have a QB who knows how to win playoff games. Almost took out NE on the road after winning in Pitt.

Brady was in year 2, not a rookie. Stafford was in a new system. 4 more passing and 2 more rushing by Stafford. 38 FG attempts by the Lions this year too. 33 total TDs (24 directly Staffor,d 9 Stafford helped. Stafford's year was clearly better. Much like Brady 2013.

His 3 pass attempts as a rookie count as a full year? Stafford is average. Hopefully he's gone soon, so you can lick his balls on some other board.

Stafford = Andy Dalton if you look at the numbers. Well, almost. Dalton's are a little better.

One year in the system.

Stafford is good. He's our QB for the next 3 years and more. I'm going to love every second he's here knowing you hate and don't know how to judge him properly.

His numbers the past 3 years, overall record, and record vs winning teams say otherwise. Top 5 defense or Stafford can't win games

That's actually a really good comparison. I wouldn't say Dalton's numbers are better though. Dalton throws less, so his totals are smaller. Also, his ypa is slightly lower for their respective careers. Of course, Dalton also entered the league two years later.

Matt's best is better than Dalton's best. Matt's worst is worse than Dalton's worst. Overall, though, they are very similar. Dalton has won more games because his team has been better for a longer period of time, and similarly has played more playoff games. Neither have any playoff wins. Dalton just got a big extension that was panned, and is considered nowhere near elite. Stafford has been paid big since he was drafted, and is considered nowhere near elite.
