Justin Henry?

Monster did a great job of assembling the new site(s)...outside of one decision or two..

And what about Henry, when we he get a shot? He doesn't k much and gets on base or have you determined he's a career minor league too?

So, Dunn gets 200 k's a year and hits home runs, most of the time. Of course he's probably no Dunn but when you have a hitting going .140, you give someone a chance to be better.

Right, because we don't have enough people striking out even if you remove Raburn from the lineup.

Let's make sure Brad gets his 30-40 games with 2-3 K's per on the chance he might his a HR, or a couple RBI doubles.

And LOL @ you comparing Eldred to Dunn. :lmao:

his ceiling is Don Kelly. he will likely eventually be on the team in a super-sub role, but not as a starter.

Wow you're thick.

Nowhere in that post did I compare anyone to anyone, or say Raburn will heat up.

I said, everyone is putting the blame on 2 people for why we don;t have a 10 game lead, and that's as stupid as the people who can't comprehend a simple post.

For the record, this is't about Detroit's record or 2-4 more wins with someone else, lol. Its just as simple as using someone that doesn't bat .140.

I'm not in charge of giving players shots Mitch, I just debunked your idea that we have good minor league players who don;t get a shot because we stick with the regulars.

Maybe but how do we know? I always here this guy or not guy are career ml because they are mediocre in the minors but Henry has been decent, give him a shot.

Um, yes it is.

That's what this little sub-thread spawned from.

the seasons he's been decent he's had a very high babip. in years with one closer to normal, he is around or under replacement level. he will be useful, but not as a starter.

You might be right, but when I see a team struggle is it too much to ask to change something instead of status quo?

I'm not going to search all over, lol. But my post is spot on, or do you disagree?

You don't have to search all over, this threads not that long.

As far as your post being spot on, spot on what?

Again, I'm not now, and never have defended Raburn's current production.

You said you want someone who can hit, I'm agreeing, I want lots of someone's who can hit, cause we sure don't have many.

Then why are you arguing with me?

:ashamed:

Are you stoned right now?

Seriously, anything I posted in this thread you tried to read a secret meaning into, and you're accusing me of arguing with you?

Justin Henry as mentioned, is not the permanent answer, maybe for a short term, more like a Kelly type as has been what the Tigers have been doing with him last year or two in the minors.
I think as this might get worse before better, and for the lack of anyone in the organization that could come up and play 2B, by sometime in June/July, DD looks to make a trade for a 2B, even if it means taking on some salary..say Polanco or another 2B.

Because I think you confused me with with someone else as I'm only brought up that I wanted a .140 hitter gone.
