All I can do is laugh and shake my head. Kiper has to be the biggest idiot of all time.

This is about the stupidest thing I've heard in weeks. If anything, we should be trading down to get extra picks.

Dude, our only hole is CB. We can afford to give up three first round picks and a couple seconds. The kid is the next Deion Sanders, didn't you know?

Geno Smith going 25. Even though I think he isn't that good there is no way these QB happy GMs will let him fall out of the top 15

I would possibly punch a hole in my wall if we traded up to get a guy that could very well fall to us at 5. Then watch the player I want go at 5 would be another hole.

No he hasn't

dwill, titus, broyles...hows that workin out?

best, leshoure...howd that go?

hogue, whitehead, levy.....what a group!

bentley, lacey, wright, carlton, spievey...whole lot of production there!

wendling was our starting safety for multiple games last year....that automatically makes you the worst gm in the nfl.

Only hole? LOL. You can never have enough corners. We need two tackles, DE, slot receiver, guard, tight end that can catch the ball, and a return man that doesn't fumble the ball. Oh and Kiper is an idiot.

Nothing wrong with Best and LeShoure. Bad luck with injury

Whitehead, Lewis, Levy, Palmer can get it done.

Delmas,Bentley,Green,Greenwood as well

Wendling was our starting safety because Delmas, Carey and Spievey were hurt.

You do realize Monster was being sarcastic, right?

Some of these guys, like Broyles, Leshoure, and hopefully a few more will produce soon. Just because they weren't Pro-Bowl worthy yet doesn't mean it was a crap pick. And why the heck did you put Wright in that list?! We signed him to a cheap one year deal, he played well, and then left when he got massively overpaid by the Bucs.

And Mayhew has never done something as stupid as the equivalent of trading up to the #1 to pick Milliner. That'd require at least a 2nd rounder, if not more for a guy we have a decent chance at getting at #5!

Mayhews trades have all been great. Moving up for Best without giving up a mid round pick. All the late round pick trades for good veterans. Trade down while picking Levy and getting an extra 4th for it. Turning a mid 3rd into a late 2nd to snag LeShoure only giving up an extra mid 4th.

The Whitehead trade doesn't look so good, but that will change depending on how his career turns out.

Way too early. They gave up a future 4th for a 5th round pick. That is the correct value is based on the draft chart. Say that took a 4th round LB with the early 4th this year. Whitehead has a year of experience in the system ahead of said rookie.

People always underrate the people on the Lions roster because they like the unknown of the draft. A 4th round rookie and Whitehead both need time to develop. Whitehead should be further along.

Plus they still have a 4th. Mayhew knew he had a comp pick in his back pocket based on free agency.

Also people forget he trade down to later in the 4th and took Ronnel Lewis. Got an extra 6th which turned into Jonte Green, who did solid for a rookie and got better as the season went along and has good size and durability.

CB is never worth that high of a pick and we could just as easily pick Milliner at 5...I can see why you're laughing lol.

I still say Best DE (I like Dion Jordan) and then see if Damontre moore drops out of the first round and pick him too, if not then Teo if hes there, if not pick best OL available.

BS to that. Mayhew thought this was a playoff team and he was trading a late 4th. Then they played the season and it became an early 4th, oops. 4th round picks are key in the draft if you want to move around. Plus there is no way to predict comp picks because performance is part of the formula so try again on Mayhew and all his genius. Remember, Mayhew was the last to know Best was done. Also you say all his trades have "been great" but then follow it up with wait and see attitude.

Gotta disagree with ya on the Best scenario. It wasnt "bad luck" that he got hurt. The kid nearly died on the football field in college. Im exaggerating but you know what im getting at, right? Mayhew gambled and lost....

As for Hughes and his list. Its simple....he doesnt like those players he listed, so he bashes them. He doesnt see any production from those guys. And there was production from some of them. Not all but some.

Leshoure, Levy, Bentley, Green, Reiff have all contributed in some way. He doesnt see it because hes either too fn stupid/ignorant or his football IQ is eqivalent to a piece of toast. Whatever the case, they dont become probowlers RIGHT AWAY, theyre dogshit. His thinking is disturbing...
