i rip on guys we constantly MOVE up for cause we target them as "difference makers" and yet they dont produce and dont even come close to making a difference. The 2nd round RB we TRADED UP FOR was outplayed by a undrafted player from fucking wayne state BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

We still have the same holes we had then....they arent getting fixed. Schematically we still have the same problems on defense....they arent getting fixed. Basically because Bell and Leshoure are interchangeable in terms of production. Our 2nd round pick could have been better spent elsewhere.

Mayhew doesnt get it....its not that rb thats back there....its the holes the oline can create. I didnt ever say we should have picked alfred morris. i shake my head cause shanahan gets it...he puts is a scheme...gets olineman to fit his scheme...than he goes and gets a 6th round rb. To be honest alfred morris isnt any better than any other 6th round rb that came out last year...hes a product of that upper mgmt doing it right. a rd 2 pick that gets outperformed by an undrafted FA is an example of an upper mgmt team not doing it right. And its just another example of how a hole on defense doesnt get filled.

Hughes point and I tend to agree, is that with our oline a high pick doesn't address the root of the problem. Couple that with late round UFA RBs doing so well, it looks to be a bad draft strategy.

Leshoure did produce. He's a RB who plays for a "throwing" team and still had some nice yards and scored some TD's.

LeShoure 3.7 YPC was troubling along with the run blocking to go with it but he runs hard and can be a workhorse with a nose for the endzone. LeShoure had a good YPC then he hit a wall the last 6-7 games or so. Funny about when he showed up on the injury report some and also during an 8 game losing streak. I'll be interested if another year after the achilles helps his speed. Because if this is it for his speed, that's a little depressing.
