Seriously what do you expect from a guy coming back from an ACHILLES injury, basically in his rookie year, and an o-line that is not meant for run blocking?!? All this is nonsense and pretty much stupid. You can't compare him to anyone because he isn't going to be all pro right now. Saying he is getting outplayed by Bell is ignorant. Not sure but wasnt Arian Foster an undrafted guy? He has been outplaying 90% of running backs. You can't compare him to Morris because, like someone else said its shanahans scheme. (Ex. Tatum bell, selvin young, and some more). Quit blaming the running game because the O-line can't make holes. Team is still at least 2 years away. Needs a couple drafts to get some guys on d and some o lineman

Not bashing Morris....but Shanahan has a LONG history of taking lower round backs and inserting them successfully into his scheme.

Production by a back has a LOT to do with the talent in front of him and the scheme. You realize that we have a power back in what basically amounts to a spread option offense right?? How many of his 200+ carries were single back shotgun draws??

If you want to make a point, do it intelligently. Don't just point to an almost meaningless stat and his draft position.....

Bell ran well. He also had a lot of 4th quarter, down by 10+ carries against prevent/dime defenses.

Also, if you take away his 67 yarder.....he averaged 4.1/carry.

He didn't get any goal line carries either...which lowers an average.

But I do agree with you that Bell ran really well this year, but LeShoure is a better running back.

EXACTLY! then why are we trading up to draft a rd 1 rb and then trading up again to draft a rd 2 rb. Cause were fucking dumb....thats why. If you have an offensive line that cant run block go get your undrafted bell and stop wasting high round picks on RBs who end up not being able to produce worth a shit.
