Lions GM Bob Quinn speaks to media

It's crazy that the Patriots are still doing just fine without Patti and Quin😂. It's just proof they are nothing without Bellicek. I know I've seen enough.

It's all Belichick. At first years ago I was always "Belichick is lucky to have Brady." Even with how great Brady is Belichick is the star.
 
100% Mitch. If I were teams, I'd stay the hell away from all Patriots staff from now on. A former Pariots defensive guru is leading the worst Lions defense of all time. That is extremely funny

I think its less about our coach and more about talent....which is on the GM. How the fuck do you go all off season without getting a pass rusher? Ive never seen so many fat people try to rush a QB...it simply doesnt work. Quin is a dumbass.

ex NE players as well. Most of them are much worse after they leave NE.

I would rather see Quinn gone then Patricia, but if he is gone so is Patricia. He has been a terrible GM. It's amazing everybody sees the problem is pass rush so he spends a ton of money on a DE that doesn't rush the passer. Then he gives our slot corner a ton of money but what CB can cover for 10 secs?

To me, the 2015 roster is better. I couldn't stand Mayhew but Quinn has been worse than Mayhew as far as building a talented roster.

Mayhew had 7 years/drafts to build that 2015 roster. Quinn has had 4.

Also, I would note that Mayhew didn't draft Megatron and also had the benefit of three top 5 picks. Quinn has had one top 10 pick and nothing else in the top 15.

While I'm not defending Quinn, this seems like a pretty bad way of comparing the two.

I'm sure there is a better way to compare the two GMs but this simple way points out that the roster hasn't improved.

Quinn didn't acquire the best two players on the 2019 team, Stafford or Slay. Quinn has not acquired any Pro Bowl talent in 4 years. Let's not wait 7 years to decide he isn't getting the job done.
 
I just don’t know what should be done. The owners should tell Quinn not to play Johnson and Stafford Again this season. If they lose the last 4 games they could get the number 2 or 3 freaking pick. That could be Chase young. Gotta sit Johnson and Matt.

If I were Quinn or Patricia I would play the best players I have in an attempt to keep my job.
