Lions hope to inspire bankrupt Detroit

You could slice Detroit off and I doubt the rest of Michigan would notice. They certainly don't need Detroit, its not like its a tourist destination.

It doesn't take much to leave Detroit. It still surprises me why anyone would still want to live there..Get a few bucks, take your pension or SS with ya and get a cheap ass apartment.

Almost 40%, damn.

I like Detroit and am hopeful as anyone about a rebound for the city, and see potential for some good coming its way. But if you think Detroit has done any good for the state of Michigan recently, I don't even know what to say to you. Its been a national laughing stock of a city for a while, somewhat undeserved as theres still some nice, but it has a bad rep for a reason.
