I didn?t win the Mega Millions but yesterday someone from the Lions front office called and I won 2 vip parking tickets with 2 tickets and we get to be on the field for pregame and the National Anthem.

I believe Kaepernick?s protest is valid because the police get away with to say to much. Not sure what is the best way to protest the police because they never listen anyway it seems. But he did and then he let Orange Jesus hyjack the flag protest to Rile up his hypocritical base . No one is disrespecting the flag. It is sad that Trump wants a police state . They are protesting the powers that be that enough is enough and police brutality will not be tolerated but his base can?t stand the fact the minority?s are sticking up for themselves. I would be afraid too if I was a minority. While most if not all police are fantastic there are a percentage that are not. It would be nice if 100% of police would be law abiding . But we all know that is not the case.

I told him it?s my first Lions game at Ford Field and i am super excited to win the tickets. I asked my son the non-sports fan who likes football but won?t watch a game on tv . He likes going to them as we went to a wolverine game once . Super excited he wants to go. Wish I could take my daughter and son-in-law as he is a huge Lions fan. I cannot wait until Sunday . Hope they play like they did in Miami!!

It's too bad we haven't figured out a way to ship Cassel to Denver for the 5th we just lost. They are in desperate need of a QB after cutting Kelly, and QBs don't come cheap or easy, even gutter trash like Cassel.

For the record, it's a pipe dream, but if Quinn pulled it off, and essentially turned Matt Cassel into Snacks Harrison, he would immediately be the greatest GM in Lions history. Haha.

I think it was because of Stafford's preference. I think he wanted a guy like Cassel that had been in the league a bit longer to essentially be another coach and watch film with and get some advice from.

The choice was Cassel or Rudock, and nobody was interested in Rudock as a free agent so he's back on the practice squad.

We didn't win the big drawing either, but my wife did win ~$3500 worth of GE kitchen appliances in a store contest this past summer, some of which we really needed, so sometimes good fortune smiles on ya, when least expected. We declined the range and dishwasher, and picked out a less expensive fridge for a washer and dryer instead, so that reduced the total of the equivalent prize money somewhat. This looks to be as big of a snatch, as I've seen by any of the Detroit sports teams in the past 30 years, and from browsing a few other Lions fan sites, they are all ecstatic over this trade ...Good job BQ!! Should help to narrow their focus on FA and in the draft on D in the offseason as well. Harrison has played on roughly 55% of defensive downs for the Giants, so teams will be forced to throw more in short yardage situations. Now they can go after an edge rusher to likely replace Ansah, and perhaps another CB instead of also having to address that gaping hole in their defensive interior next year. Too bad that they have already played EE and the Cowboys this season. Recall that in EE's rookie season , the only two regular season games that the Cowboys lost were to the Giants, and Snacks had something to do with that.

His ability to break down film is probably the big key. Let's be honest, who our backup Qb is doesn't matter. If Stafford goes down, we're screwed. Period. The story just ended, pray for a speedy recover and we'll get 'em next season boys.

It's the clipboard spot that mattered. They are paying him a veteran salary to help Stafford see the things he might not otherwise see and gel a little faster with the new HC, who Cassel played for previously.

Either that, or Patricia has a hard time with names, and if his starter goes down he just wants to be able to say "Go get 'em Matt!" and not be wrong.

In fact I do not remember one thread where I commented on what he did other then that Trump and you and other Neo-con far Righty’s want to change the narrative in what His kneeling was really about. In fact if I did say anything about it was probably that he has the right to kneel but that I would probbaly try and think of another way to get the point across.

I have never kneeled for the National Anthem since that whole thing started. Get a grip of yourself Mud not everything is about politics. There are times when forgetting about that lying piece of crap in the Oval Office and the stupid shit he does is the best way to pass the day. Way to ruin the mood debbie downer.
