Lions's chances this season

Granted, 600+ is not good. Which seamlessly turns into nearly 700. And, magically becomes nearly 880 yards. Remedial math anyone?

is there a difference between 600 yards and 880 yards? In my opinion....in both situations, your defense sucks ass.

Shooting themselves in the foot meaning they suck.it wasn't because of injury or luck it because our guys are not good at being the INT.

That play was bad by Berry somewhat (good covereage, bad catching). Good play by Fairley too to force that gift of a throw for Berry. So not full suck, just one guy in one aspect of the play. And the rest of the guys were hurt so made it easy for Brees. The refs screwing us twice was great luck for the Saints on top the secondary injuries Detroit got.

Ever think Brees wouldn't have had so many yards if Houston,Delmas and Spievery were healthy that game. In fact, Detroit D was doing much better when Houston/Spievey were healthy in the 1st and early 2nd Quarter. Then Brees magically is destroying us when Spievey doesn't know where he is and Houston is out of the game leaving Wright on a number 1 and Alphonso Smith into the game. Lions were top 5 in secondary before Thanksgiving and then Delmas, Houston and Spievey all got hurt.

In light of recent evidence, the Lions got their asses kicked.

Good play? I thought was a easy, no one near him INT. Which means it was a horrible pass.

Good recognition and great play by Fairley to cause the bad pass.

But it wasn't a great play (good coverage) by Berry which is what you said..how do you have good coverage anyway if there's no one near you?

Coverage was good. Drop was bad. Can be both. First half good, second half of play bad.

just like the Lion's psat 3 seasons. Good first halves and shitty 2nd halves.

Lions record in the first 1/2 of the season over the past 3 years is 15-9 & their record in the second 1/2 is 6-18. A lot of that has to do with lack of quality depth. Every team gets injured over during the season. The Lions can't overcome them. This won't change until they have several great drafts and/or get rid of their top heavy payroll.
