The defense has been even worse than the offense. It's time to axe Austin as well. He made a name in one season with a line full of first round picks and a LB corp full of early round picks. Why is he still here?

There is more to it than that. It takes some coordinating to figure out who to block. Modkins did well in 2013 with Bush and Bell. Abdullah and Bell hopefully do better. Bell healthier might help. We'll see what happens.

Means nothing when another coach gets promoted after a firing. It happens all the time, it's temporary. You can't fire everyone and they won't right now. Two more guys could get the axe in a few weeks if it gets real ugly and that's Austin and Caldwell. Then 2 more guys get "promoted" if you will. It means jack fucking shit.

I understand why some of you are super negative about this team. Hell, I didn't even watch the game this weekend because fuck the Lions. But they did what we've been asking for and now people are upset because of how it was done or because they speculate it wasn't Caldwell? Just seems silly to me.
