Stafford has shown flashes of why he was the #1 pick. Other times he makes you just shake your head. He will thread a seam pass that makes you say wow, and follow it up with a swing pass to a rb and miss him by 10 yards. Has to become more consistant.

you honestly think we have a good defense? Were ranked 26th or worse in pass defense for a majority of the year....and you think we have a good defense?

Ansah - good first year. Needs to progress cause 8 sacks and being injured 1/4 of the season isn't really up to par where we need him to be playing next to suh.

Suh - good player....underproduced for how much money hes owed and more importantly how much money he will demand in the future.

Fairley - Hasn't produced like a top 13 pick should playing next to the best DT in football. therefor we declined his option.

Levy - 1 good year...do it again please.

Tulloch - last legs....I give him 2 years tops.

Van Noy - hasn't played a snap in the NFL yet. Was productive at BYU playing against below mediocre competition. Was mayhews best pick this draft. Hopefully they can use him in creative ways to get pressure because we got nothing out of that position last year. He probably stays on the field in dime looks with Levy and Bentley/lawson. Right now the best thing about him is how hot his girlfriend is.

Houston - you keep saying if healthy....but he just had surgery.

Slay - same as Ansah....except he had a horrible first year. Tough learning curve for that position....needs to step up year 2. Bottom line is he hasn't done squat except he was 2nd in the league behind milliner for # of times he was benched.

Quin - decent safety...that's about all. Wasn't very productive last year.

Ihedigbo - none of you even knew who he was before this year. 2nd year player took his position in BAL and we picked up their scraps. Average at best. Only better than Delmas cause right now hes healthy. Were 1 concussion away from Carey.

Jones - career high of 5 sacks. Doesn't get to the qb. Is only a DE cause he was too light to play DT. Doesn't fit well anymore now that Schwartz is gone. Coming off knee surgery. He can jog now...yippee.

In conclusion im excited about Slay, Ansah, Suh, Van Noy, Quin.....the rest need to be upgraded soon. Even worse news is if one of them get injured it gets ugly....real ugly.

Levy has been solid before and showed he can be good in 2013. Houston healthy is good in 2011/2012 form, Quin is good, Suh is elite, Ansah showed great things and has incredible talent for year 2 and Slay developed and has great size and speed. Plus no more backs against the wall with 34 turnovers. Very good defense.

Pass Defense was average overall (when you look at every category) with Houston and Slay shitting the bed. One guy gets better and it's a good thing, both get better, incredible defense. The dumbass media is the one that makes it seem terrible.

Jones and Taylor at DE I like. They are the run stopper, Fairley, Ansah and Suh carry the pressure load and now Van Noy chips in some. Notice I gave Jones the least sacks in my predictions. And Jones versatility is a good thing in case a DT goes down.
