Matthew Stafford comes in as No. 9 QB in NFL

Of course CJ is the main guy you defend. That's a no brainer but Ebron actually was capable of stretching the field. That helps the other WRs big time. Defenses were not worried about guys like Willson or Toilolo.

I agree with this.

Monken picked a shitty browns offense led by maziel 2.0 over stafford...nuff said.

Really?!?!? Manziel 2.0 how high are you right now? If you watched one browns game AT ALL this season you would realize Baker is leaps and bounds above where Johnny football ever was.... Not saying the guy is Peyton 2.0 but I wouldn't mind him as my qb one bit. 63.8 completion percentage 27 td's to 14 picks with almost 4k yards in 14 games played and 13 starts as a rookie? Yeah I'd take that.

I haven't watched a Browns game this season but I can't imagine he's Manziel. I am curious how he does next season, his rookie year was quite ago.

Stafford was 6th in TDs. Marvin had a monster year, Tate was a great option, Riddick was a receiving threat. Ebron had a few TDs and dropped a few more (not Stafford)

Ebron also played all 16 this year. He usually played 13 games with the Lions and went out early in one or two other games. Our bad luck again

watched several browns games...hes short, runs for his life and throws the ball just like johnny manziel does. Almost every media outlet compared him to Manziel comming out with a higher passer upside. Cocky Attitude, off field isssues, play style etc etc. Like i said..manziel 2.0 with a better arm.

I wonder who gets a playoff win first...Baker or Stafford. My money is on Baker

Definitely Baker. Better on both sides of the ball (offense was closer statistically, but also hurt by their idiot HC to begin the season). The AFC North is becoming a joke...Cincinnati is awful, Pittsburgh is imploding, Baltimore has no offense.

Even if Stafford & the Lions are better they still have a tougher path IMO.

He's 6 1 which is taller than Russ and Brees, not comparing him to them just saying, but he's not small, he actually can lead a huddle and gets respected by his team. Since coming to the NFL he's been nothing but professional and has had no off field issues unlike Johnny, except for like you said maybe a little cocky, but isn't that what you want from your QB? Confidence? Passion? Fire? People hate the ho hum attitude of Stafford and bash him for it all the time. Manziel 2.0 comparison is just retarded and I'll stick to that opinion because his numbers prove he's already broken that comparison and proved the haters wrong in his first season. We'll just have to wait and see next year brings I guess...

The Lions had a chance to move on from Stafford in 2018. They didn’t even consider it.

This NFL team apparently went fishing for Lions' Matthew Stafford last year.
