Matthew Stafford comes in as No. 9 QB in NFL

I will give you Ragnow and Hock. Hock only made it because Kittle was out and the lack of quality TEs in the NFC.

So they have 2 good players.

Stafford not clearly great...can't even make the top 3 in the NFC. :lmao:

Injuries main reason for the lack of success..2nd was coaching. And your back handed comoliment of hocm shows your bias. Decker is good, flowers is good, collins is good, harmon is good, stafford is great, ragnow is good, okudah potential, hand good when healthy

it wasn't meant to be a compliment at all. It was a matter of fact.

Hock has had years similar to Gronk and Logan Thomas. They are all about the same. You would think that Hock would have had better numbers since he was the #2 target on the team with KG out

Hock was good..receiver and blocker. Produced all year. Deserved probowl and makes all the haters look dumb

Kittle a little bitch who got hurt..you guys bash kg, lets say kittle was faking it too

Also fuck you for assuming kittle would be better than hock and then assume stafford would not be affected ny kgs injury. You cant have it both ways. Injury either matter across the board or they dont at all across the board. Basically you all assume is all other injuries across league matter and lions injuries dont matter..your logic is extremely flawed

Who is hating Hock? I just don't want a TE in the top 10 unless he revolutionizes the position. Noah Fant was taken 10 picks later and is projecting just as strong as him.

There were a shit ton of players I'd rather have taken after Hockensen. Bush, Brian Burns, Ed Oliver, Dexter Lawrence, etc.

Hock was projected to be top 10, lions needed a te and he is a good player. It is what it is..Flowers and Okwara are good des too. They traded for griffen. Would a dt have been nice. Sure but they were strong at dt after 2018 season. Snacks and Hand were balling and Robinson had a nice 2018 too. Soooo you gotta remember everything is the point instead if being little hindsight crybabies. All thosr players could have sucked under patricia. Burns isnt even a scheme fit. Factor in everything

OK fine. This is boring. Lions got fucked with injuries and Stafford's an HoF. Let's move on. This act is tiring.

You've been saying the same shit since you started communicating on this board. That says all you need to know about this franchise that you have to defend them for a decade.

You all note other teams injuries but ignore lions. And also just assume lions players would suck if healthy when they havent in past..the tiresome act is most of you all

Trufant good player for years. Hamstring injury all season. That cant be ignored

the logic is actually sound. Kittle was the best TE in the NFC the past 2 seasons. He was first team all pro last year. He played in 8 fewer games than Hock and only had 132 fewer yards.

Per game average

Hock 46.5 yards per game, 10.9 YPC, 65% catch rate
Kittle 80.9 yards per game, 13.8 YPC, & 76% catch rate

So, I am not saying Kittle had a better year, because he got injured. But, based on common sense, if he hadn't gotten hurt, he would have blown Hock out of the water.

As far as KG's impact on Matt's stats. It really isn't significant. KG isn't a real difference maker. Matt's stats are pretty consistent this year with his past 6. Around 65% completion percentage; around 7 YPA, similar rating.

Kittle could have had 0 yards in all games. And kg opens up the offense. Stafford 6th in qb rating last year with kg..imagine if had defense and run game average..best qb in league.

And if we are going by per game pace.stafford would lead league in 2019 in passing tds. The per game pace was dismissed when it comes to stafford yet applies to kittle somehow. Hypocrisy

Also there are 2 spots by the way. Hock gets in over engram. So you are wrong there too. But thanks for proving you dont pay attention

I was just showing you how they compare on a per game basis...just as evidence. Just like the evidence that over the prior 2 years he was selected to the pro bowl and FIRST TEAM ALL PRO in 2019. It is reasonable to assume that he would be just as effective if he hadn't been hurt. But he did, those things didn't happen, and Hock was lucky to be named to the pro bowl. Just like Matt was lucky to be named when the better QBs turned down the opportunity to go.

Players regress all the time. You have no clue how kittle would have done. And again 2 spots..hock over engram too..and hock is really good player which you cant deny

It just shows how much of a prick you are when someone calls hock a good player and pro bowler over engram and immediately you bring up kittle. Fuck kittle

You have to be a packer fan

well, Kittle came back after missing 7 games and had 4 catches for 92 yards...so it is probably safe to assume that he didn't regress.

Pretty funny actually, more yards in that game after coming back from a broken ankle than Hock has had in any game this year.

But kittle broke his ankle..which makes him less worth this year. And regardless, hock is a really good player

So trufant would be a good corner if not hurt. If you say that for kittle, you should say that for trufant and flowers and kg who have also proven to be good players in past too

Also hock has better td rate than kittle.hmmm suddenly tds arent brought up by dalton

Hock is good..you guys were dead wrong

Just admit you all bash lions players endlessly for little to no reason even the good ones

My list of good solid and bad players is very accurate

here is the difference between the average players that you listed above and Kittle. Kittle was coming off a year where he was first team all pro. He picked up right where he left off and then got injured. The guys you are talking about, they were never at that level to begin with.

You are 100% right about him being worth less this year. If you are hurt / not playing, you are not producing and not helping your team.

So Hock made the pro bowl...awesome. He is an above average TE. Yippie!

There are 2 great TEs in the NFL. Kelce and Kittle.

There are 2 good TEs in the league. Waller and Andrews

Hock is in the above average group with these guys
Thomas
Ingram
Henry
Fant
Gesicki
Gronk

Flowers and Kg and Trufant have been good players in league. Kg led the league in td receptions for christ sake..flowers ranks top 10 every year. Trufant good corner for years with falcons. Years. You just bash them.once they put on a lions uniform. Its amazing hownmuch bias you have against them

lol

Trufant a pro bowl alternate in 2015. Some guys didn't want to play so they asked Trufant!

Flowers...never made it. Never even asked when good players didn't want to play in it.

KG also made it as an alternate...when a better player couldn't make it.
