Michigan Football Recruiting '17

Well, Harris and Scarborough both have to return to Alabama correct? I don't think they are eligible for the draft. Najee won't see the field until his 2nd, and potentially 3rd season because they are always so incredibly deep at the position.

He'd be a day 1 starter at Michigan, IMO. Or at least get a ton of carries early.

Bama is always stacked at RB. It doesn't prevent them from constantly bringing in great RBs.

5-star RB Najee Harris: he will not make a decision public. He's ducking out after Army Bowl, and will just show up at a school. Buckle up.

Pretty refreshing to see a recruit take this route. His brother wants him at Michigan.

I want my brother to go to Michigan simple as that. He can be a legend there!

#Michigan QB commit Dylan McCaffrey has a chance to be a game-changer with his legs in Ann Arbor, perhaps faking to this guy Najee Harris.

I have never seen anything like this. I fully expect that insiders will be at the airport, waiting to report what flight he's getting on. I hope that won't be the case, because it's a cool idea.

Does anybody know if Steve Lorenz has had anything to say lately about Harris? He's usually on the money and his pick is still Alabama, although it was made in mid-2015.

Nothing from Lorenz, but Sam Webb said this on WTKA today:

Najee Harris - Confirmed that he still has not heard anything from Najee's direct circle about coming to Michigan besides that they "don't know", so that is the reason for his lack of "gut feeling". The recent projection had to do with some "compelling things" he has recently heard that has enlightened him as to why people think he's coming to Michigan. He wouldn't go into details, but there's that.

I'll take it. Man, I learned long ago how easily you can get burned by getting too excited about running back prospects (Baraka, grady, mcguffie, etc) but this motherfucker..

Power, vision, speed, ability to read and set up a block. Big play potential, can grind it out. Just a flat out.....wait for it.....stud.

I'd expect that at some point, he'll turn up in a student directory. This would probably happen at some point before he steps foot on some campus, wouldn't it? He has to enroll and immediately after that, his decisions would be known. When does one have to be enrolled at Michigan to start going to school at Michigan this coming semester?

Well, guess the cat is out of the bag with Harris. One of Alabama's recruits just said they are on the same plane together to Bama.

Gave it a shot.

This is odd, but isn't the Army All American game this coming weekend? Why would Harris or anyone else fly to Alabama yesterday?

He actually didn't. His flight his back to his hometown in Oakland. The other kid was talking out of his ass. Maybe their original flight is scheduled together, but Najee's connector heads back to Oakland.

We're still in the game.

The meltdown over at mgoblow is amazing as well. We have the No.1 running back from last year who has 4 yrs left and a break out star from his year, not to mention another fast little fucker in Samuels. We are good. We need fucking offensive lineman waaay more than this cat.

It would be nice to have him, but never thought we had a chance at all. I also think it was a mistake to let Dillon walk. He is a really good RB that tested awesome at the Nike event.

I'm not flipping out either. Would've been nice, but oh well. Time to turn off the flashers and sirens and see who signs on signing day or is enrolled early. It's already a killer class.

Yep. I'm more concerned with the o-line like you guys. When's the last time we had a really good o-line? Jake Long's last year?
