Michigan Softball NCAA Regional Update

Ladies play the buckeyes tomorrow, 6 PM Eastern, Friday, April 12, at Ohio State.

Last chance for OSU. Michigan travels to East Lansing to play the Spartans on Tuesday at I think 6 o’clock eastern.
 
Michigan 10 Ohio State 3 Final l 16 wins in a row. 28-10 overall and 11-0 in conference
Osu is 24-13, and 8-4. Team play two more times this weekend.

Michigan 28-10 (11-0) riding a 16 game winning streak plays at Ohio st 24-13 (8-4) today in a doubleheader at 2 and 4 pm.

Michigan was trailing after one but have plated five runs to lead 5-2 in the top of the 5th inning..
Winning streak continues in game one.

Game 2 of doubleheader.

Fudge muffins Meghan gave up a two out solo shot in the bottom of the 7th inning, and
Osu ties game 1-1. Heading to top of the 8th. Winning streak is over at 17. Lost game two of doubleheader in eight innings 2-1.

Michigan falls to 29-11 and 11-1 in conference.

Alex Storako has 14 K’s. Bats are a rolling tonight. Up 12-1 in the bottom of the seventh.
Only issue was Beaubien started but only faced 4 batters I think before getting yanked.

Final score Michigan 12 MSU 1 Final. Michigan improves to (12-1) 30-11 overall. Msu falls to (3-9) and 15-25 overall. Alex Storako came on in relief of Beaubien and gave up 1 hit and struck out 15 batters. She also walked 5. She pitched all 7 innings as Meghan did not record a out.

Btw over the weekend at osu Hutch recorded her 1600 victory. Second game of the doubleheader with osu. Hutchins record now is 1601-516-5 overall.

WOW! Hail to the Victor Valient! I think Michigan may have an easier remaining schedule than NW. Hopefully, Minn can knock them off in a couple of games. Michigan didn't play NW this, so I expect the first time they will face each other will be in the B1G tourney.

GO BLUE! Finish the season strong and take the B1G tourney championship!
 
Phew! Michigan was down 8-5 going into the 7th vs Illinois today. Pulled it out with 4 runs in the 7th. Storako struck out the last two batters with two on base.
