Michigan Softball NCAA Regional Update

Man, the Illini played tough at home. The first two games were squeekers! They were lucky to get the sweep. Glad Michigan finally put together a big win to finish out that series. Now they come home for a game vs Sparty and then PSU, and finish out the season vs Maryland. NW has to face the Illini, Sparty in EL, and then at Minn. Hopefully, they will drop one or more of those games. GO BLUE!
 
They spanked the Spartans 16 - 1. Hope they can keep their bats hot during the postseason!

Thanks for completing this - has to run out just as the game was ending.

Huge bottom of the fourth leads to the opportunity for Michigan to run rule the Spartans in the top of their fifth.
 
#22 Michigan walked off with a solo shoo in the bottom of the seventh to beat Penn St 6-5. Hitting has been ok but pitching has been real shaky lately. Michigan improves to 35-11, and 17-1 in conference. Michigan has won 34 in a row over Psu the guy on the Twitter replay of the homer said.

Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern last few games . Sure wish we played them both. Minnesota plays less games in the big ten this year I think or they had rain outs Idk :/

Michigan completes the sweep of Penn st winning today 7-2. Team improves to 37-11, and 19-1.

Well it is the last weekend of the season, and it sucks that Michigan does not play Northwestern or Minnesota this year in the regular season. BTT starts next weekend May 10 in Bloomington Indiana.

Northwestern 20-0. Have won 19 in a row.
Michigan 19-1. Have won 8 in a row.
Minnesota 18-1. have won 11 in a row.

Michigan @ Maryland. (4-16) 20-28.
Northwestern @ Minnesota.
So we need Minnesota to take two of three and we need to sweep. I guess Minnesota could sweep, and we could sweep, and we would finsh a half a game ahead. . All three teams are in long winning streaks.
 
#22 Michigan wins 6-1 in opening game at Maryland improving to 38-11 , and 20-1 in conference.
 
Northwestern beat Minnesota 1-0. Neither team had many hits.

Minnesota can’t win big ten regular season now as even if they sweep last
Two from the wildcats they will finish a half a game out. A rainout is costing
Them a chance for a tie. They are playing for rpi rankings and still have a shot to
Host a regional in the ncaa so hopefully they will win the last two.

#22 Michigan rolls today at Maryland 8-0. Now 39-11, and 21-1. Teams need Minnesota to beat Northwestern today.

Top of third in Minnesota. Gophers up 3-0. Wildcats have two on and zero outs.
Game is on espn. Man umpire is squzzzing gopher pitcher. 1st and 3rd one out.
Bases loaded now after having hitter 0-2. Gophers change pitchers to the girl who
Lost 1-0 yesterday, and only gave up 2 hits. She k’s first batter. Two outs.
Man this ump is not giving the low strike. Pathetic umpire. 3-2 count.
Stirkeout! Gophers still lead 3-0 bottom of third.
