Miguel Cabrera all time great career HOF numbers tracker

June 10, 2023: Miguel Cabrera had a double to the gap in the second inning, and then another double down the left field line in the ninth.

The latter was the 3,120th hit of his career, tying Dave Winfield for 22nd on MLB?s all-time list.

Cabrera now has 1,137 extra-base hits, tying Ty Cobb for 15th in big-league history.
 
June 11, 2023 Game #63 while the tigers have been losing more lately Miggy has started to collect a few more hits. 1-4, single run.


  • Career Hit # 3,111 breaks tie with Dave Winfield 23rd all time. (4) behind Alex Rodriguez (3,115)
  • 1,973 Career Singles breaks tie with Stuffy McInnis now 53rd all time singles. (3) George Davis at 52 with 1,976
  • He had 2k's yesterday also bringing that number up to 2,056 6th all time which is likely were he'll end up as the next man up is Alex Rodriquez with 2,287. I'll say he doesn't K' 231 more times this year.
 
June 14th, 2023 double header with the Braves Games 65 and 66 Miggy actually played in both games and hit his first HR for the year.

Combined 3-8 (HR) 2 RBI's 3 Runs, Double, BB, 7 total bases

  • Career Hit #'s 3,112. 3,113 and 3,114 now (1) shy of Alex Rodriquez
  • HR # 508 (1) shy of Gary Sheffield at 26th all time
  • 615th double (9) more to catch Henry Aaron at 13th
  • 5,287 total bases (22) more up Adrian Beltre at 14th all time

June 15th, Game 67 1-4, he's playing more lately, did they hear me complain about his lack of time? LOL

  • That's Career Hit #3,115 and now tied with Alex Rodriquez at 22nd all time
  • Career Single #1,975 next one will move him into a tie at #52 with George Davis

he's been hitting really well in June. Small sample size (23 AB) but hitting .348 with 5 XBH
 
June 17th, game #69 career double #616

Career hit #3,116 breaks tie with A-Rod now 22nd all time, (25) from Tony Gwynn at 21st (3,141)

June 27th, Game #78 1-3 RBI, Walk. Hard to believe he only has 11 RBI's this year nearly at the half way point.


  • Career Hit #3,122 (19) more to catch Tony Gwynn at 21 then Robin Yount only 1 up from Tony to crack the top 20
  • Career RBI #1,858 (2) to catch Mel Ott at 13th all time (1,860)
  • Singles update now at 1,981 passing Albert Pujols day or so ago, 51st all time (13) behind Bill Buckner to crack the top 50
  • Now at 1,246 Career Walks, 56th all time, (3) behind Ty Cobb at 55 (1,249)
  • 5,296 total bases (13) behind Adrian Beltre at 14th
 
July 4th, 2023 Game #84. The tigers had 6 hits and lost 1-0 to the A's Miggy had 2 of those 6 hits.

  • Career Hit #'s 3,125 & 3,126 now 15 behind Gwynn and 16 behind Young to crack the top 20 all time
  • The two singles brought him to an even 5,300 total bases now. (9) behind Beltre at 14th

July 5th, 2023 Game #85 Tigers get smoked by the worst team in baseball but Miggy was 1-2 double RBI walk

  • Career Hit #3,127
  • Career Double #617 (7) behind Hank Aaron at 13th
  • Career RBI #1,860 now tied with Mel Ott at 13th all time
  • Extra Base Hit #1,142 (9) behind Beltre at 14th

I have to say that it looked like to me that the OAK RF slow-played Cabrera's double.
 
July 9, 2023 Game #89 1-4 RBI

  • Career RBI #1,861 passes Mel Ott for 13th all time. (48) up Willie Mays, at this current pace he will finish right here at 13th all time in the RBI category.
